An Escape...

We all need one at various points in our lives.

From the troubles, the lows, the dips and the valleys that show up at the most inopportune moments.

From our families and friends who have been hovering just a little too much lately

From ourselves, who, oftentimes, do the most damage, with unwelcome thoughts in our darkest moments

Thomas Beecham says that, "the function of music is to release us from the tyranny of conscious thought."

In a way no one else could, music has always understood me.
