Three of Cups and The Devil
It's always so nice to catch up with everyone at the devil's sacrament.
Three of Cups
The Three of Cups is about celebration, friendship and collaborations. It indicates a period of happiness and quality time with your friends and family. I chose Tom as the focus here, because he symbolized that for Franky and Iceburg. Working with him as children was a cherished time of camaraderie and happiness. Also, if the shipwrights of Water 7 in general don’t fit the cards aspect of “creative collaborations”, then I don’t know what does.
x + fortune teller + nine friendship-isms that i noticed except half of them are probably coincidental and also you can see me make progressively bigger stretches as i slowly lose my mind. Fuck with me (but also if you have trouble deciphering my handwriting/seeing it on the background, the alt text has it transcribed)

The Three of Cups: Jason Jepson
Upright Meaning:
A period of happiness - forget the worries of life and celebrate - gatherings, happy reunions with friends, and spending time with the people in your life. A close friendship may turn to romance, you may grow closer with friends. Celebrate... while you can!
Reversed:
You may not have time to socialize or go out. Life will be hectic and busy, you may even lose touch with some friends. It can represent growing apart or feeling isolated.
Alt Coloration is Blinky because I feel like Hatchetfield High is a huge source of entertainment for him
Three of Cups. Art by Fabio Visintin, from the Morgan le Fay Tarot.
The episode three buckets refers to the tarot card 3 of cups and the title card features Fern with three upside down buckets, which resemble cups.
Them being upside down connects this episode to the reversed 3 of cups. Upright three of cups means friendship, celebration, happiness, weddings, while reversed means the opposite- the end of those things. An ended relationship. And that is what this episode is about, Fern ending his relationship with Finn in his effort to steal his life and become him. It also can represent jealousy, which… uh, durr, and backstabbing which, uhh, double durr! It also can represent feelings of isolation, which is yet another part of what Fern was going through.
