Why is no one talking about how the Thrilling Three rode around in a motorcycle with two sidecars. No wonder Apogee called the group "Gazerbeam's gang", I'd be pissed too. 🤣
I’m in LOVE with her 😭❤️ ZERO screen time and I feel like she’s the most charismatic, charming, witty superhero from the incredibles. I KNOW she carried the Thrilling Three, Gazerbeam got NOTHING on her ✌️probably was the one transporting them around too let’s be honest
All I got of her is a goddamn audio file, nsa file and a couple lego voice lines. And I’ll savour each and every one of them.
Really funny how the Thrilling Three are enough of an American symbol to actively harm patriotism when they disband yet one of their original members was definitely Canadian
A commission for @64-jungle-planks featuring their borrower OC interacting with Phylange from "The Incredibles"!
Keep in mind that this contains quite a few headcanons :3

Incredibly Small
Yet another large-scale threat had been extinguished. All four superheroes, each with their own unique set of abilities, combined their powers once more and rose above whoever dared ruin the peace of their beloved city. Usually, after a job well done, they'd shed their disguises and reunite at their favorite diner to feast and raise a toast to another victory. This time, though, the team was forced to split. Frank claimed to have a date to catch, while June had some personal matters to attend to as well. That would have left Arthur and Mark alone, but if they were to be honest, the two heroes weren't as close. They eventually chose to call it a night and each went their separate ways.
Thus, Arthur dragged his feet towards his car. It wasn't a long walk by any means, but it was dark, cold, and his entire body was aching, muscles tingling with the need to recoil. As soon as his black Chevy came into view, he felt a metaphorical weight lift off his shoulders. Fumbling with his keys for a second, he promptly unlocked the vehicle and collapsed on soft cushions of his seat, sighing in relief. But he couldn't relax just yet. He leaned forward and checked through the windows, making sure no passersby happened to be present at the abandoned parking lot. The moment he made sure the field was clear, that's when he let go.
Inch by inch, Arthur's body shrank, his 5'7” figure dwindling by the second until his tiny, 2-inch self was all that remained on the seat. The disguised borrower smiled to himself, his emerald eyes closing in bliss while he stretched for what felt like the first time in a while. In reality, it hadn't been more than eight hours since he'd last shifted to his true size, but he had strained himself during the fight. Man, I'm starving, he thought to himself, but then again, he was too sapped to move. Reluctantly, he crawled to the edge of the seat and dropped the short distance to the mat below. There, by the pedals, was Arthur's living space. He found it funny how all his possessions could fit in the palm of his hand at times, but they were everything he had, even if they weren't a lot. The rugged mat barely tipped beneath his infinitesimal weight as the borrower approached his lying grounds, where his beloved linens awaited him. He removed his lavender-colored Super attire in favor of a cozier flannel and a casual pair of slacks. The tiny hero chose sleeping over satisfying his empty stomach, reasoning that he'd have plenty of time to eat the next morning. Besides, food is what sustained his growth, and without eating first, he wouldn't be going anywhere. Clutching his soft linens and lulled by the soft drumming of the rain that had just started hitting his windshield, the man dozed off.

Frank couldn't believe his luck. Or rather, the lack thereof. And just when he'd convinced the woman of his dreams to go on a date with him, the weather decided to pull this stunt! Unbelievable! The once perfectly groomed tenor was now nothing short of wet to the bone, when a lightbulb lit inside his head and shed light on all of his problems. Clutching his navy fedora, he took quick and long strides that ultimately led him to the only available solution. His matching navy suit had already turned a shade darker from the downpour, and he was looking forward to a dry shelter.
Soon, the familiar parking lot came into view from across the street. Frank made a mad dash towards the sole vehicle occupying the space, in hopes of not getting any more soaked than he already was. It almost felt criminal what he was about to do, but the past conversations with his protégé put his mind at ease. Besides, if he hadn't wanted his mentor to borrow his car, he shouldn't have permitted him to do so in the first place.
Once arm's length from the black, slicked car, Frank went straight for the handle, only to curse himself when he realised he hadn't brought the spare key in his possession. The tall man frowned when the solution suddenly revealed itself. The minimal light the street lamps provided was enough to expose a glinting item by the front wheel. Curious, the tenor bent over and picked it up, rolling the small metallic piece in his palm. His brows shot up.
"Well, maybe my luck is taking a turn for the better after all!" he grinned to himself while clutching the key. Without delay, he twisted the key in the lock, and when the satisfying click signaled that the door was finally open, he tugged on the handle and welcomed himself inside.

Arthur woke up to a rocking motion. Still half-asleep and drowsy, the borrower looked around in confusion. He was still safe and sound inside his car, albeit a bit hungry, a problem he decided he would fix after a couple of hours of adequate rest. But the rocking motion continued, and that's when he looked up, way up, and saw a great shadow loom outside his window. His eyes sprang wide, the sleep leaving his body all at once. Instead, he shook in fear, his body not knowing what to do as the towering person outside seemed persistent in breaking in. Arthur gripped the textured fabric, pulling it tighter around his body, eyes not leaving the window. Rain was still falling in large, heavy drops, and the sources of light were very limited, leaving the borrower unable to even make out the silhouette of whoever stood out in the open.
When he ultimately found the strength to move, not daring to leave his comforting linens behind, the borrower scooted closer to the driver's seat lest he be seen in case the intruder succeeded in his goal. He internally cursed himself for not eating beforehand, as he was now completely stranded. His eyes shifted to the direction of the passenger seat's mat, where he knew he kept some leftover cookies, courtesy of June. Oh, how he wanted to rush and grab them, but the fear of getting caught left him frozen in place. Arthur gulped, not knowing what to do. He half hoped the intruder would bail on the idea and leave him be, but realistically, such a thing was impossible.
Surprisingly, the great shadow disappeared, but the borrower's relief didn't last long as the looming form came back into view. Arthur's anxiety went through the roof when he heard the scraping sound of a key entering a lock, and his brows disappeared behind the messy strands of his curly locks.
"No..." he whispered, his hand quick to cover his mouth and drown any sobs stuck in his throat. He detested the feeling of powerlessness that came with being one of his kind, yet understood there wasn't much that could be done about it. The moment the door unlocked and a large, bulky figure settled on the driver's seat, Arthur had to physically suppress the scream that almost left his throat. His teary eyes traveled unwillingly up the long, murky pillars that were the man's legs. The enormous shoes narrowly missed his spot as they settled inches from where he stood. The sight ended up being too much for the small borrower. A yelp left his mouth, one he couldn't contain fast enough. He tensed, wishing to his lucky stars that the intruder heard nothing. Regrettably, luck was not on his side this time.
Arthur’s tiny chest heaved, every breath shallow and desperate as his whole body stiffened. He pressed his linens closer against himself as though the thin fabric might shield him from the immensity before him. The weight of the car shifted again as the man settled fully into the seat, rain dripping from his soaked coat onto the mats below. Arthur’s emerald eyes flicked up, bracing for the inevitable. And then it happened.
Frank leaned forward with a heavy sigh, tossing his drenched fedora onto the dashboard. He raked one hand through his dark, wet hair, muttering something under his breath about the cursed weather. As for Arthur, he dared not move, though his earlier yelp already betrayed him. The sound hadn’t gone unnoticed. Frank froze and his expression sharpened as he cocked his head slightly. He glanced around the car perplexed, but with the alert of someone used to danger. His eyes scanned the empty seats, the rearview mirror, and finally, the floor. Arthur’s heart slammed against his ribs like a trapped dove.
The moment their gazes met, time seemed to collapse. Frank’s storm-grey eyes widened, the surprise visible in his face. The borrower stood frozen in place, all two inches of him trembling, curly hair plastered to his tiny forehead from the lingering dampness.
“Arthur?” Frank’s voice was a whisper at first, hoarse and careful, as though saying the name too loudly might shatter the boy into pieces. It wasn't unusual for the younger man to sport a smaller size, but he couldn't help but wonder why he was shrunken in his own car.
Arthur winced. His instinct screamed at him to run, to vanish beneath the pedals or squeeze himself underneath the mat. But his fear chained him still. And part of him, against all reason and instinct, longed for the safety of someone familiar.
“...F-Frank,” Arthur finally squeaked, his voice so faint it was nearly lost beneath the now booming drop of the rain against the windshield. "I... I can't grow..."
Frank blinked, his lips parting in something between awe and disbelief. He leaned down slowly, elbows braced on his knees, lowering his enormous frame so as not to tower quite so threateningly. That didn't seem to work as the tiny man only recoiled further. From his point of view, the tenor's presence filled the car like a mountain towering over everything below it.
"Why not?" the bigger man asked, his voice taking a familiar analytical tone that Arthur wasn't used to having directed at him. With a hard swallow, he tried to reply to the best of his ability.
"I-I'm naturally t-this small..."
That only made the older man's frown deepen, albeit only for a second.
"WelI," he started, "I figured you'd have your secrets,” Frank murmured, voice steady and curious now, “but I never guessed this.” His eyes softened. “You could’ve told me, kid.”
Arthur hugged his linens tighter, his chin dipping. His mouth bobbed open and closed like a fish, but before he could get anything out, his view was filled with an immense, rapidly-approaching palm. The borrower gasped and draped the linens over his head, as if that would shield him. It didn't.
The relentless thrum of his little heart only picked up the pace as he felt the eager digits of his mentor close around him and lift him high up. “I… I couldn’t. You’d…you’d pity me. Or hate me. Or tell the others...” His words trembled as much as his body. “People aren't supposed to know about my kind...”
Frank tilted his head, studying the tiny figure with an intensity that made Arthur’s stomach twist. But then, slowly, the man shook his head, a warm smile breaking the stern lines of his face.
“Arthur, listen to me.” His voice filled the small space with certainty. “I don’t hate you. Not one bit. Neither do I pity you. You're one of the most capable people I know. You’ve fought beside us, saved this city more times than I can count. Size doesn’t change that. You’re still my protégé, and quite a valuable member if I must say."
Arthur’s lips parted in shock, eyes stinging. He hadn’t realized how badly he needed to hear those words until now.
“But… I’m weak like this,” Arthur whispered, his gaze dropping. “If anyone found out, they’d never look at me the same way. They’d never believe I could protect them.”
“You’re not weak,” Frank said firmly. “You’re scared. There’s a difference.” His smile grew softer. “Even this small, you’re more up to snuff than most full-grown men I know. And believe me, I’ve met plenty.”
Arthur’s throat tightened. The warmth that radiated from the man’s skin seeped into him, slowly replacing the tension that settled in his bones with an oddly comforting sensation. He curled up against the steady rise and fall of Frank’s breathing, his linens draped around him like a makeshift cloak. Frank pressed the tiny figure against his wet suit, yet the borrower didn't seem to mind. He felt so impossibly small against the rhythm of that giant heartbeat, but for the first time tonight, it didn’t terrify him. Instead, it grounded him.
“Frank…why are you being so kind to me?” Arthur asked, his voice muffled.
“Because you deserve it,” Frank replied without hesitation. “And because you’ve been carrying this alone for too long. Let me help you shoulder it. You don’t always have to fight by yourself.”
Arthur’s chest ached, a mixture of relief and disbelief flooding through him. A sob caught in his throat, and before he could stop himself, he pressed closer, burying his face against Frank’s shirt. The man’s free hand hovered for a moment before gently cupping over him, a protective cocoon shielding the borrower from the world.
They stayed like that for a long while, the storm outside lashing at the windows while inside, the car remained warm and safe.
Eventually, Arthur’s breathing evened out, exhaustion pulling at him once more. Frank felt the tiny weight grow slack in his palm, and he smiled down at the boy. “Rest easy, kid. I’ve got you.”
Arthur murmured something incoherent, half-dreaming already, but Frank caught the word “thanks” tangled in the whisper. His chest tightened with something fierce and protective.
"So, a borrower, huh? You completely fooled us!" he mused, a lopsided smirk adorning his lips. The tiny averted his gaze as if ashamed. Mainly because, in a way, he was. It was no secret that humans weren't particularly fond of his kind, but he was glad that his favorite one didn't see him as the pest he often felt like.
“And you've been living in your car all this time? How come we never noticed?” the man inquired with a raised brow. The borrower shrugged.
"I suppose I went above and beyond to make sure I'd get to keep my little secret." he replied in a distant tone.
A pause followed. All the times Arthur towered over anything and everything, sometimes even at nearly 100 feet, played behind his eyes like a mental movie. No matter how many times he witnessed the spectacle, his brain couldn't fathom how so much power resided in something so fragile. On pure instinct, his grip got firmer.
"And Frank...?"
"Hm?"
"Promise not to tell the others? I swear I'll break it to them when I see fit."
Frank smiled.
"Of course, kid. Your secret is my secret."
Reassured, Arthur clutched the thick hem of the man's collar, fisting the soaked fabric in his tiny palm. His heart that had been racing all along finally started to slow its frantic beat, settling into a lower, more normal pace.
As the rain softened to a drizzle, Frank leaned back in the seat, keeping Arthur close. His date was long forgotten, his ruined suit no longer a concern. Tonight had taken an unexpected turn, but as he looked down at his sleeping student, nestled safely in his hand, Frank couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
For the first time in a long while, Arthur didn’t dream of battles or shadows hunting him. He dreamt of warmth, of trust, and of finally, finally, not being alone.
AHHH I FINALLY FINISHED PERSPECTIVE SHOT’S NSA AUDIO FILE! YIPPIEEE! I wanted to animate some of it, as well as add a few more cards because I like working on lore and I like going into it. I know it’s a bit extra- but it’s something I wanted to add that would fit in canon! Feel free to take inspo from it if you want!! Just please @ me because I would also like to see what extra info slides you guys make.
(please ignore spelling mistakes, I'm horrid at spelling)
v Under the cut there’s her NSA photo in color (with the Phylange) as well as some lore about her file!! v
Here are some basics about her before I get into bits about her file!
Full Name- Edelweiss Richter.
Nickname? Ed, Eddie
Super Identity- Perspective Shot, Perspective, Spective
Birthday- Nov. 19, 1925
Pronouns- She/They (AFAB)
Height- 5’8” (172.72 cm)
Sexuality- Questioning
THE CAR
Dinky-Do, her Chevrolet, wasn't actually suppose to be her and The Phylange's mode of transportation. Along with a new side-kick, The Thrilling Three would have also gotten a new form of transportation as well as a revamp of their base. That obviously didn't happen, so now The Phylange gets to be driven around by his sidekick in a car, Apogee gets the chopper, and Gazerbeam goes back to working with Gamma Jack.
NSA PHOTO
I put them at a Hero's Day parade! Specifically 1944's Hero's Day, which would be Perspective's very first one. She's nervous and staying close to The Phylange.
THE SUIT
As you can tell by looking at her NSA photo, her suit's a copy of who her mentors were going to be. The colors are a slightly softer version's of The Phylange's. Her neck V? That's from Gazerbeam's fit. The blue stripes and mask are straight from Apogee. Perspective Shot was the NSA's last ditch effort to keep The Thrilling Three together for "the good of the nation's patriotism", which in my book, says lots that it take two people to try to fill the hole Dynaguy left. Which- talking about The Thrilling Three leads me into The Phylange and Perspective Shot's team, The Polyphonics. They aren't actually a team team, it's just what they've been dubbed for they are Mentor + sidekick and I don't think that qualifies really as a team. I just didn't want to put "Phylange and Co.", haha!
INDESTRUCTIBILITY RANK
I'm actually a bit iffy on her indestructibility bar- haha. She's immune to basically all physical attacks, but very susceptible Magic/Mana and Mind attacks. In my brain, that bar covers both, so I wanted to put it in the middle? If you have a better idea for where that should be set please let me know!!
