Spine-tingling Throw Them Out demands all of your attention the moment its first seething, bristling synths hit your earholes. And by demand, I mean it takes a hold of you, and makes you a willing prisoner. It shackles you to its pummeling beats, its stormy bass, and its incendiary vocals. Throw Them Out is a provocative electronic anthem from Belgian project FÄR, consisting of An-Sofie De Meyer on vocals and Tim De Gieter on production. The pair released their first demo in 2016 and quickly gained notoriety through their relentless live shows. Debut album SALUTE received rave reviews, and they’ve since hit the studio to write and record their followup record, a five track EP entitled HYPNOSIS due out in April. As you can hear on Throw Them Out, FÄR commands their own space in the electronic scene, melding gothy raging witch house with thistly future bass. The resulting sound is visceral and triumphant. It’ll inspire you to turn the lights off, bust our your glow sticks, and rave the night away to the savage beast of a delightfully menacing song. I just started an organization called Students for Progress to push for gun control and a better Code Red response protocol in wake of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Elementary, middle, and high school students are the overwhelming majority of school shooting victims, and yet, we have no real power to enact change in order to protect ourselves. Until now.

There are now marches, protests, and events being held across the country to push Congress to adopt gun legislation that ensures that something like this never happens again. But why stop there?

Students for Progress is an organization that plans to push for gun control and reform even years from now. We are run by students and are advocating for students.

This idea is just getting off the ground, but we would appreciate any and all support that we can get. Currently, we have a functioning account on Twitter, which you can find under the username @Kids4Progress. We plan to launch an Instagram account by the end of the week, and we have a few people working on a website.
