Happy #throwbackknitsday 🧶 In March I published my Johanne Hat and now that is getting really cold outside, I can wear it again. #johanneHat I absolutely LOVE it. It has a double folded brim which makes it super warm. The 2x2 rib makes it super stretchy so that it always fits snug, no matter if I wear my hair open or in a pony tail. 🙌 The inspiration for this hat was the a similar one that the character Johanne is wearing in the Norwegian television series "Hjem til jul" (eng. Home for Christmas). As we have another heat wave I thought I'd share my Thar Tank Top for this weeks #throwbackknitsday 🧶 Thar is totally customisable. It has a lace section on the bottom which can either be worked with a straight or a tapered edge. Also you can choose from two different necklines: a round neckline and a v-neck. In addition this top is reversible, so if you choose to work the front and the back in different ways, you get two looks in one top. Happy #throwbackknitsday everyone! 🧶 While we still have wonderful summer weather, the mornings can be a little chill. Lately the days start with about 15°C and then the temperature rises up to 30°C in the afternoon. 🌞 So, in the mornings I got to wear my Wesekh Sweater which is definitely one of my favorite knits I have ever made. #wesekhSweater I love all seasons and I really appreciate all the changes that comes with them. It has been quite a while since I shared a picture of my Abenteuer Sweater. #abenteuerSweater 'Abenteuer' is the German word for adventure. It is Throwback Thursday! Exactly one year ago tomorrow my first pattern was published in a magazine! That was such a special moment for me. 🍾 It really felt like a milestone. In June 2021 my Feldspar Tee was released in the pattern collection "Quick + Easy Knits No.2" by Interweave. #feldsparTee It is a very easy to knit drop shoulder tee that is a perfect project for beginner knitters and a super quick project for advanced knitters. I woke up to a very gloomy and rainy day today. 🌧 So, I thought for this weeks #throwbackknitsday I'd share this picture of my Wesekh Sweater taken on a similar day in the fall of 2020. 🧶 #wesekhsweater This is one of my all time favorite sweaters and sometimes I feel I share it not often enough since it has been released for almost 2 years now. When a design is out there for this long, it usually seems to be burried under all the new releases and no longer found by lovely knitters like you. This is why I was super happy to find a post with a new Wesekh Sweater in the making today. Throwback to a day almost two years ago. It was June 2020 and the pendemic had started only a few months earlier. That day I was lucky enough to be able to meet two friends for a walk outside again - keeping 2 meters of distance between us of course.
