All right lookit.

I know I said I'd be back when I finished my novel and I, perhaps foolishly, suggested that might be in May. But the book isn't finished, in fact, it's what I am (sort of) fondly calling a disaster book. Also, there's other stuff. (See: living with a persistent chronic health condition).

I'm still trying to keep writing fanfic as the thing I do for my own enjoyment. A hobby that I can escape into, not a burden. However, for the last two months, I've not had a lot of my own time to work on THttHoP.

I'd like to wrap up for the five year anniversary of when I began, but please do not anyone take that as a firm announcement. This is basically my reassurance that it's not forgotten, the intention is alive and well, but the space in my life to fulfil the intention is, as Aladdin's genie would say, 'itty bitty living space.'

Been rereading THTTHOP (the heir to the house of Prince) recently in between the chaotic mess that has been this December for me, and my brain is ITCHING to make fanart but I’m abt to finish part 1 again and I’ve yet to decide on a scene.

I’m thinking i might redo that sketch i did of Harry and Kreacher building the toy cars from the kinder eggs to be actually complete, or at least cleaned up a bit more.

If anything I kinda just want a full on body reference for Harry considering how many scars and marks he obtains over the course of it all. If i had the brain for it I’d write them all down-

i was reading Heir to the House of Prince and i’ve just found out it has roughly 15 chapters left and im devastated

i love that fic to pieces, i don’t want it to be over yet :( im not even caught up 😭 i was at ch 54 when i found out. so i closed the tab bc i needed time to process the news (i’ll prob open it again before the day ends or early tmw)

Just read the last published chapter of The Heir to the House of Prince and I’m crying. Not for the cliffhanger, but that I have to part with Severus, Remus, Harry and Theo for a month. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so emotionally involved and so emotionally exhausted by any fanfiction. I loved many, yes. But this? This is a totally different feeling. And now I’m crying. Now I’m scared. I’m scared that wonderful, brilliant @elph13 would kill Sev or Rem. Cause canon did it to them. If she does, part of my heart will perish with them.

Thank you for all you did to me, beautiful Author.
