Today's Dragon Is: The Scauldron!! 🌊

I love Scauldrons, they're so cool and I love the patterns on their wings!! (Unfortunately I couldn't add them on this one, but they truly look great!) 🌊

I still remember like it was yesterday when I was little and I used to watch RoB/DoB on TV, I remember the episode with Scauldy made me cry, it was so emotional, I really liked that dragon and hoped we'd see him often!

Btw Ruffnut with short hair looked awersome, I wish she had stayed a couple episodes with that haircut before it grew back, oh well 😔

Themed manhole covers in Berk

for “communication”, the mystery class symbol is used (featuring a changewing)

and for “private storm” the tidal class symbol is used (featuring a scauldron)

as far as i’m aware, there’s only these two variations within the world, but it’s possible i missed one!

You know I was thinking back on both the shows and the movies and I realise that Tidal Class dragons really got the short end of the stick.

I mean, Thornado is the only one of that class to have been the riding dragon of one of the main characters.

Even the Strike Class has two representatives thank to Sleuther and Strike Class are supposed to be the rarest of dragon species.

And while I understand the reasons (both in and out universe) to pair Bucket and Mulch with a Zippleback, I think it was missed opportunity to have bond with a Tidal Class. They are fishermen after all so the perfect persons for the job.

As for the whole "A Tidal class dragon can't stay out of the water for very long or their skin will dry out",

Thornado has always been fine AND they all live on freaking islands, not in the middle of the desert.

I Ended up making this when trying to redesign the wooly howl. Its basically if toothless was based on an otter instead of a cat.
