How the Curtis Gang and Shepard Brothers Flirt Hc's:

Curly Shepard:

° He flirts by being mean to you because Curly's a little shit lmaoo! He's that guy that'll get under your skin so you talk to him. I'm pretty sure at first y'all couldn't stand each other.

° He tries to be smooth, but he's not the brainiest so the lines he practiced either sound corny or dirty ngl. He did get most of them from Tim or his gang members after all. Curly is a bit of a copycat in that sense, but he's original in some stupidity he pulls. He's actually incredibly funny, with a quirky sense of smoothness. 

° Deffo tried flirting with you by propping his foot on a stool, missed and face planted lmaoo. You never let him live it down, but it got him a date with you because he made you laugh a lot. So in the end, Curly's stupidity and clumsiness won! (I say that affectionately ofc! We Stan Curly Shepard on this blog.)

° He thinks flirting is also doing something that he knows is gonna get him into trouble right in front of you. Curly's a bit of a show off, isn't he? Nevermind, there's entertainment at all times in your budding relationship. Curly doesn't like to be serious too often, so you'll be in for lots of fun and trouble making!

Dallas Winston:

° Omfg is he a bastard! Flirting with Dallas is one wild ass ride. The president of the, "I Like You So I'm Gonna Be Mean to You Club". The bigger the reaction you give him, the better. And boy will he get it because he genuinely does have a whole arsenal of things. He'll get dirty real fast, though that's more at the start.

° He's very touchy and will sling his arm around your shoulders, a hand in your back pocket… He shows interest. Dallas is not shy!

° His eyes fall to your lips, filled with mischief and interest. An absolute tease when he leans in just a little closer, and when you're ready to kiss him, he turns away smoothly at the last second. All just to rile you up because he likes 'em feisty!

° Dirty jokes galore! He's got incredibly smooth as hell pickup lines too. When he wants to be, he can make a good impression.

Darry Curtis:

° Darry is surprisingly smooth when he wants to be. People are stunned because they don't see it coming as it's not on display often. His grumpiness disappears, replaced by a cheerful charm and smoothed features. Not an ounce of stress on his face. He's inclined to laugh more. He's still got the charm! Oh and his smile is to die for!

° He's old school and very gentlemanly. He wants to make a good impression even if you've been married for decades! Darry enjoys taking care of the one he's interested in. That'll never go away, so flirting can almost come in the form of checking up on you too. 

° Darry pulls out all of the romantic stops that he can. Expect lots of flowers and stuff - Soda had to help him arrange it all because he's so damn busy, but his intentions were definitely there. No one can deny that. He even gave Sodapop strict orders, otherwise he'd have beaten the tar outta him because Soda gets distracted easily. (Obviously that last bit isn't me being totally serious.)

° Lots of eye contact and smiling. He's got a beautiful smile - and yes, I know I mentioned that again. Darry shows interest through looking into your eyes, having a gentle arm around your shoulders and just being the gentleman that he is.

Johnny Cade:

° He's clumsy and it can be insanely challenging to pick up when he's flirting. However, he has more colour to his face than what's normal. He's a glowing tomato! 

° Johnny is genuinely interested and will say the most sincere compliments to you when he's worked up the courage to do so. I feel he would stammer a lot, but he means what he says. You can tell, and it makes you have an explosion of butterflies in your belly.

° Pda isn't his thing really. Touch in of itself can be challenging to experience, but he does try to hold your hand out in public. He always sticks by you the closest, so much so that you can practically feel his body heat. Don't take offense to this, he's way more affectionate when it's just you two. It's just that all these curious eyes on you both freaks him out.

° He goes out of his way to help you with things, even if he's not really good at it. It's his way of showing you he cares about you. Johnny wants to feel like he's worth something, and how he does this is by getting his hands a little dirty for you. It leads to a lot of wholesome or even funny moments. The more he does this without you protesting, the more comfortable he gets around you.

Ponyboy Curtis:

° He's clumsy too in his approach. He blushes sm but he tries to be flirty. He fails, but not without you giggling. He gets real mopey, but adores your sudden affection. Pony is just embarrassed.

° He's kind, helping you with any of your school work as he enjoys spending time with you. Gets all dreamy eyed when you're there, and you'll catch him daydreaming - even when you're talking. He just sorta gets lost, guys. Earth to Pony!

° Compliments you sincerely and smiles a lot more. Suggests that you guys go see a movie together. This is a huge step, because as we know, Ponyboy doesn't like watching movies with other people. However, he feels comfortable with you, knowing you won't intrude in his mental space by gratingly talking through said movie.

° Ponyboy shares things with you that he never shares with anyone like movies, books, sunsets, etc. If he's talking passionately about something to you then it's a good sign. He loves listening to your passions too. He can wrap his head around a lot of different topics all at once. All I can see now is Ponyboy just swooning over you silently with a whimsical sigh as you chat about your latest interest. Absolutely wholesome!

Sodapop Curtis:

° Sodapop flirts to the max with you! He makes it very obvious that he's into you whilst also remaining cool and smooth. He's got a knack for sweeping you off your feet, it feels like you're in a romance movie!

° Sometimes it can be challenging to see when he's interested or just flirting for the fun of it. The lines can be blurred because of how friendly he is. Yet do not let that deter you. When Sodapop is seriously interested, you can tell with the sparkle in those gorgeous, dreamy eyes of his.

° He gets your number with a smooth pick up line! He's also touchy since his love language is touch. Not inappropriately of course, but what you're comfortable with: Holding hands, his hand in your back pocket, an arm over your shoulder, etc. Sodapop is drawn to you like a fly is drawn to honey, but not obsessively. He knows the balance and picks up quickly what you are and aren't comfortable with.

° Asks you out or takes you to a party. His entire attention is on you. He wants to show people how much fun y'all are having. Sodapop is very direct, but he can also be coy. He likes a bit of a chase, but he carries himself with sweet gestures, yet flirtatious advances. He knows how to have you swooning over him in seconds.

Steve Randle:

° Oh boy, you're not prepared for Steve Randle. He's smooth asf and that wise cracking attitude either grates on your last nerves or makes you think he's slick enough to date. There's no in between, but whether you hate him or not at first, it doesn't matter, he somehow gets you to be fond of him soon.

° Soda is his wingman for sure, helping him feel better about himself. He gasses him up to you, which makes him feel less nervous about asking you out. He wants to make a good impression. Besides, Sodapop helps ease your nerves too! The bridge that causes you both to meet.

° Steve is more physical. He likes to have a hand on you at all times. He isn't shy at all, but he tows the line of respect very well. Only gets more dirty if you're into that kinda thing lmaoo.

° He's the type to wink at you and shit lol. It's actually not embarrassing or cheesy at all. Sometimes you'll look up from across the room at a party and he's half listening to Soda while he's getting your drinks. You catch him looking at you with those pretty blue eyes and he just winks in a way that makes your heart throb. You have to look away. It only makes him approach you, whispering, "Whatchu hidin' those pretty eyes from me for?" right into your ear as he hands you your drink.

Tim Shepard:

° He fights Dallas for the presidential spot of the "I Like You So I'm Gonna Be Mean to You Club" lmaoo. However he has a lot of charm. His handsomeness also helps. He's a ladies man after all! Tim is swooned after by many women, but he's got his eyes set on you.

° Once again, physical touch and flirty comments galore! It's the one time Tim is the most talkative. He is adventurous, pulling you in tow. He's eager on the inside, but smooth and mysterious on the outside. Everything you say and do he notices, he just might not make it apparent.

° Really observant so he knows quite quickly how to get you into his good graces. It's like a gift he has. He also is the type to tease you a little mercilessly when you've done something cute or whatever. He can't help it. Any excuse to get you even a little embarrassed without outright humiliating you gets a kick out of him. He enjoys it when you smack him playfully on the arm when he's made a dirty joke, because you're relaxed.

° Tim is the type to walk or drive you home. It's sort of sweet, but he just says he's going in that direction anyway lol. He usually isn't. He's a protective boyfriend, and wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he let you run off on your own and you got jumped. He's adamant about it too, and when he can't, he gets someone he trusts from his gang to walk you home.

Two-bit Matthews:

° Two does what he does best, which is to make you laugh. He loves to see and hear you smile and laugh. Bonus points if you're crying and wheezing! He enjoys someone that can have easy banter with. So the more that you poke fun back at him, the more he's gonna be into you.

° He's such a dork with his cheesy pickup lines. He has no shame, people! Two has the corniest jokes and lines, they make you roll your eyes and shake your head. He's so much fun to be around, because one moment you could be talking, the next you're swing dancing like no tomorrow! Absolute chaotic spontaneity.

° Puts up the charm, loving how you keep up with him. He's witty and likes witty people too! Two enjoys your sense of humour - even if it's a little quirky. He can do quirky without any trouble, just be warned he's got a dirty mouth, especially when drunk. So dirty jokes are definitely on the menu.

° Physically affectionate to the point where he may not get that he's going a bit overboard. He's not out to make you uncomfortable, but being boozed up all the time and not taking things so seriously can get in the way. But nothing funny I promise. Besides, I think Two-bit just likes to be around you so much anyway.

(a/n: heya lovely! i’m just letting you know that i wasn’t comfortable writing about the ideal looks they went for as i’ve seen a lot of these types of imagines posted and most of them are blonde haired, blue eyed white girls. i really want to begin ensuring that my writing is inclusive to as many people as i can, and i also don’t think the boys would be too knit-picky on their partners looks. so, i’ve mainly focused on the “ideal” personalities instead, which btw are just my own opinions on how i view the characters, as well! - admin kat🌙❣)

The Gang + The Shepard Brothers Ideal Types Personality Wise Preferences:

Darry Curtis:

° I think that it’s a no brainer that Darry would date someone who’s got a more mature outlook on life and mindset in general. He doesn’t really have time or energy to invest into a relationship with someone who’s going to throw tantrums and storm out like a child. Darry has two kid brothers and a gang of friends who are pros at that, he needs someone who can keep their cool.

° He’s also going to be looking for someone who is much more grounding and soothing since he’s stressed 25/7 from raising two kid brothers, paying the bills on time and having his buddies crash at his house almost everyday.

° I believe as well that Darry would be looking for a more stable relationship, particularly one that’s long term. Darry doesn’t have the time to invest in something short term that doesn’t go anywhere. If he’s going to be with someone, he’s going to be very serious about it.

° He needs someone who’s good at communicating. Sometimes he holds in all of his emotions until they explode out messily. He needs someone who can communicate their points of views in an adult-like fashion. Also, by you speaking about your emotions it tends to open the door a crack to allow him to open up emotionally to you also, which is initially quite challenging for Darrel to do.

° Darry will need to be with someone who isn’t too sensitive. In his eyes there’s nothing wrong with sensitivity, it’s just that his words can come out rather brashly, especially when he’s high with emotion and often he’ll say things in the heat of the moment that he truly did not mean. So in other words, he needs to be with a partner that won’t take what he says to heart and will take things with a pinch of salt.

Sodapop Curtis:

° With all of the listening and diligent advice giving that this boy hands out, he’s going to need a significant other that can also do the same for him. I mean, the poor boy is only a human, he has troubles, insecurities, fears, worries, hopes and dreams just like the rest of us. He’ll also need them to be a bit patient with him because he’ll often feel guilty when he comes to you with his issues, it makes him feel weak. So all in all, he is looking for a partner in which he can develop a strong emotional connection to.

° Sodapop is definitely an adventurous and spontaneous young man and is eager to find a partner that is up to having fun with him, at least some of the time. This could be when you sit on his lap during a drag race, attending rodeos with him, going to parties and having a blast of a time by dancing the night away, the list goes on! As long as you’re up to doing some fun things with him, he’s down to be with you.

° Introversion, ambiversion or extroversion really doesn’t matter to Sodapop. He will love his partner to their very core, warts and all! As long as you’re a good person, Sodapop doesn’t really care. He’s understanding of everybody and will ensure that you’re comfortable no matter what when you’re dating him. 

° Obviously he’s going to want to be with someone who’s both trustworthy and honest, for obvious reasons regarding his ex Sandy. There’s also going to have to be some patience coming from your part. I mean, he’s over her now, but the insecurity of someone breaking his heart again like she did is a pretty intense fear of his. But that’s okay, because you naturally help soothe that insecurity of his: When you say you only have eyes for this dreamy guy, you mean it!

Ponyboy Curtis:

° Ponyboy would definitely lean towards being with someone that is more in touch with their femininity and their sensitive qualities. This is surely due to the fact that he too is quite sensitive. He wants to share sunrises and sunsets, along with his thoughts of movies and books with his partner, since he can’t exactly share that much with anyone else in the gang.

° Ponyboy also loves creativity and sports, so he’s going to look for someone with either a passion for creativity or sports, maybe even science. He enjoys practicing your sport with him and bouncing creative ideas off of you. You two would make the perfect study partners!

° He’s also going to look for someone who’s a good listener because he has a lot of intense thoughts swirling around in his noggin most of the time. He’d be super grateful for it and shyly thank you, returning the favor tenfold. Pony believes in making sure that what he receives he puts out back to you just as handsomely.

° Ponyboy is definitely an introvert and that’s awesome! I feel that he’d be down to be in a relationship with another introvert, but he’s also going to need someone that will bring him out of his shell a little. He’s going to be with someone that he feels he can trust and fully relax around, which is why he’s able to share his interests and thoughts with you so fluently. So, regardless, his emotional connection to you needs to be strong in order for him to speak more and open up.

Johnny Cade:

° Johnny has a whole host of issues mentally and emotionally, so it’s incredibly important that he is with a significant other that displays qualities of compassion, patience and support. Having someone he can go to is an important step in him allowing his walls to slowly break down. If he’s talking to you without having to be forced to, you know that he’s comfortable around you.

° Again, Johnny is going to need someone who is an excellent listener. It may take some time for him to open up to you, but when he does he’s honest. And you best believe that he’s incredibly grateful to have you. Just like Ponyboy and Sodapop, he’ll also listen to you. He believes that a relationship is a two way street as well.

° Johnny is pretty introverted and shy, there’s no doubt about that. I personally feel that he would be with someone who’s much more independent and enjoys making the decisions in general. It’s going to take some time for him to be comfortable enough to communicate what he wants and why. But your patience comes in handy and eventually he’ll tell you he wants to go see a new movie at the drive-in, etc. Yet initially he’s going to let you make most of the decisions.

° Like Ponyboy, he’s definitely ecstatic to be around another introvert, vibing off of each other would be amazing for him. Silences wouldn’t be awkward and things would just be over all chill. But, I still believe that Johnny needs a partner who can get him to relax in any situation and bring his feisty nature out a little more, since it’s definitely there and we’ve all seen it! The gang find it endearing that Johnny speaks more when you’re around, it makes them happy to see how joyful he is, because that beating from those Soc’s had really left him jumping at the sight of his own shadow. Poor baby!

Dallas Winston:

° Dallas Winston is going to be into someone who is more care-free. Being with someone that’s constantly anxious leaves him feeling on edge and he wants to feel on top of the world, all round relaxed. Especially when it comes to respecting his boundaries. The whole idea of someone attempting to change who he is makes it difficult for him to take them seriously as a partner. He’s Dallas Winston, he’s going to do what he wants!

° Like Sodapop, Dallas is looking to be with someone who likes to have fun and bend the rules. Dally is a rule breaker himself, often going out of his way to break the law. He’s not asking for his partner to start shoplifting or pulling crazy stunts like he does, but even minor things will get his adrenaline pumping. Although, he’s not opposed to dating a goody two shoes either!

° In Dally’s eyes, he doesn’t care whether you’re a tomboy, a girly girl or somewhere in between! He picked you because he loves your style and the person that you are, despite how mushy that sounds. He’s never going to admit it though. Maybe he’ll tease you endearingly about it, but that’s about it. There’s something about you that caught Dally’s eye and he knew he just had to have you all to himself.

° Dallas often prefers girls who are confident, headstrong and know what they want, even if they cuss him out in the process. Just take Sherri Valance for an example! She was having none of his crap and her feisty nature really sparked interest in him. So there has to be something personality-wise from you that he also feels he connects to. However, he also has no issue with being with someone who’s quieter and less confident, Dallas is going to make you feel like the luckiest and most breathtaking girl in the world when you’re with him. His louder nature will coax you to relax over time and you’ll start to blossom a little in confidence. He’s not looking to change you, just to get you to relax, because he finds you swell just the way that you are!

Steve Randle:

° In Steve’s books, he prefers individuals with a more masculine energy, regardless of whether they’re male or female. He’s not opposed to being with someone with a more feminine energy to them. It’s just that he really wants to be able to share his passion for both automobiles and sports with his partner. He’s kind of a dork like that.

° This teenage boy is most likely going to need someone who’s able to calm his highly intense energy down. He’s in a constant state of tension, itching to let out his emotions in often brutal ways such as fighting or drag racing. He’s hyperactive and finds it a challenge in itself to soothe that high energy he’s feeling most of the time. So someone who’s more grounding and calming is a sure way to help him unwind. Obviously, you’re not looking to change him because that’s not your job! It’s just that your aura tends to level out the high emotions that pulsate throughout his entire being at full throttle.

° Yet also, it’s very important for Steve to have a partner that he can also have fun with. Much like Soda, he enjoys participating in rodeos, drag races, attending parties, etc. Doing fun activities with his significant other helps them to bond with one another and creates particularly fond memories, this is also vital because it makes him want to be around his partner more. Family and home life is genuinely a drag for Steve, which is why he spends a lot of his time at the Curtis house. To have a partner that will also do spontaneous activities with him, it helps him move beyond his broken family life, and into a space where he can really flourish as a person.

° Once again, this young man will need someone who’s good at listening to him. He’s got a lot of daddy issues, considering he fights on nearly a daily basis with his father, getting kicked out too! This obviously creates a lot of anger inside him, which is why he’s so smart mouthed and quick to jump the gun and invest in a fist brawl, instead of talking things out with someone or letting it go. He feels that he needs to be tough in order for people to not only take him seriously, but also not to step on him. His father steps on him and his emotions too much which has erected a sturdy wall that he let’s few people through. It’s like his defense mechanism.

° This boy is going to love someone who smiles brightly at him. It’s cheesy I know, but there’s nothing better on this planet than his partner being happy. When you smile, all of his worries dissolve!

Two-bit Matthews:

° It’s a no brainer that Two-bit will flock to blondes. They’re his favorite! But what really makes him a sucker for someone is their ability to laugh right along with him. Yes, even at his crummy puns and terrible jokes! The sound of your laugh is genuine music to his ears, he’d do anything and everything to hear it a thousand times a day. The only time he enjoys you crying is when you’re crying of laughter.

° This boy is a bundle of the finest chaotic energy™ known to man, so he too will need someone more grounded to keep him down on the ground. Otherwise, he’d be on Mars by now! His partner would definitely teach him that it’s perfectly okay to feel other emotions that aren’t joy and excitement, and that it’s equally just as important to face those feelings.

° He strives to be with someone who is passionate about something. Anything really! He may not be the brainiest out of the bunch, but he’ll listen to you for hours on your passions. It makes him grin silly and honestly, he likes to at least attempt to learn some things about your interests. For him, a big passion of his is Mickey Mouse! He’ll talk to you about it for hours whilst he watches the television show with you.

° Two-bit also values honesty in relationships. Yes, he’s a grade A liar, but he feels crummy when he lies to his partner or is lied to by his partner. So he always does his utmost finest to ensure that he’s being as honest as possible. This is especially the case when a joke of his upsets you in any way, shape or form. If it goes too far then he wants to know. He can be a bit scatterbrained and may forget, but he wants you to be comfortable with and around him. He won’t settle for anything less.

Tim Shepard:

° Funnily enough, I believe that he would go for someone a lot softer than him since he likes the contrast. He’s all about that opposites attract trope, even sometimes his own gang have to bat their eyelids to make sure they weren’t imagining who they were seeing with their gang leader. They don’t necessarily have to be a goody-goody, just not as harsh as he is. It makes him hopeful in the world when he can bag someone kinder than him.

° Nevertheless, Tim wants to be with someone who has a mind of their own as well as having the capability to stand up for themselves. He loves protecting them, but he also wants to breathe easy when he’s not around you, comforted silently in the fact that you can handle your own. I mean, it’s a turn on for him when his partner can run their mouth, despite looking innocent. Like hands down, it’ll probably get him in the mood asap!

° Although Tim isn’t sold on expressing many emotions, he’s aware that they’re there, bubbling under the surface. So, Tim will definitely be with someone that he feels he is able to emotionally connect with. He doesn’t even have to vocalize this, it’s just something that he knows inside of his head and can feel when he’s around the person. It means that you’ve both got a strong connection together, which he’s not really got with many people in his life, considering how brutal his home-life really is.

° He also wants to be with someone who is trustworthy and honest. Tim doesn’t have the time to waste on two-timers. Usually when he settles into a relationship, it’s for the long term.

Curly Shepard:

° It’s canon that Curly Shepard isn’t the smartest kid out there in the world, so he probably seeks out someone who sees past that and can really get him as the person that genuinely cares deeply about him and wishes to get to know him. Because Curly is actually quite fun to be around, he’s always got some sort of idea to kill the time!

° In all honesty, Curly’s going to be most attracted to an individual that will be prepared to cause at least a little bit of trouble with him. You’re usually the one who ensures that you both don’t get caught. The whole experience is such a rush that you’re both grinning widely at each other afterwards.

° He’s most likely going to go for someone more extroverted or at least someone who is an ambivert as Curly would have a challenging time when it comes down to understanding someone who’s more introverted and shy. It’s not to say he wouldn’t like them, he just will assume that they’re quiet and withdrawn because they don’t like him, even if they do. But he definitely doesn’t think that there’s anything wrong with introverts! I mean, Ponyboy Curtis is one of his good buddies, after all.

° Curly is quite spontaneous himself, enjoying it when he switches things up. He becomes bored with little effort, so he needs to keep himself busy, and what better way to do that when he can cause all sorts of trouble! You low-key do have to remind him that climbing a telephone pole again would result in another broken arm, but he does it anyway!

i’m really sorry this took so long and i also kind of got carried away with the shepard family dynamic so i’m also sorry for that lol but i had a lot of fun writing this🥺❤️

tim shepard is smart. real smart. unlike his siblings, he’s not overly confrontational, nor is he as personable as curly or angela. he’s extremely analytical, he lets everyone else do the talking while he perceives and observes. most people have a never had a true conversation with tim, but you were not one of those people. you and time have been going together for a little over a year now, and most people would consider you both to be married already.

you were sort of the calming presence in his life. leading a gang can take a toll on one’s mental state, especially while raising two kids as if they were your own. you ground him, and of course help out with the kiddos.

to angela, you were the older sister she never had. you two loved to gossip together, while tim and curly would sit around, rolling their eyes and muttering 'girls' dramatically. but as much as she loved drama, nothing anyone could say could ever change her opinion on you. you had been there for her and her brothers when everyone else had given up on them. you were their rock.

you held curly very close to your heart. you could especially feel for him because he’s a miniature tim, and you’ve mastered tim’s emotions and struggles by now. you know deep down curly has potential to be more than a member of his brother’s gang, but you never wanted to upset either of them by saying something. even though he’s fifteen, he’s the youngest of the bunch and you tend to treat him like he’s a lot younger than he is; but you know he secretly enjoys the affection.

you were awoken this morning by freezing rain pitter pattering on the thin ceiling of tim’s bedroom. you were tempted to stay in bed longer than usual, but you knew if you didn’t make breakfast everyone would just go hungry.

so now, you were frying eggs over the stove, awaiting for all of the shepard siblings to wake up. tim was fast asleep when you left the room, and you suspected that he could sleep for hours if not woken. usually, you’d wake him up by now, but today you decided to let him sleep in because he has no other responsibilities to fulfill.

small footsteps clambering into the kitchen startle you out of your daydreams, and you don’t have to turn around to know that curly is sitting behind you on a barstool. "mornin’, curls. over easy?" you smile back at him, overjoyed at his curly hair and boyish features.

"mhm," he hums, setting his forehead on the counter.

shortly after, angela exits her room with a groggy aura surrounding her. none of the shepards are morning people, as you can probably tell. "good morning, ang. scrambled?" i grin back at her. she gives me the same response that curly did, but she collapses on the couch afterward.

you serve the kids bacon, eggs and toast and they gobble it up with ease. it fills you with warmth watching them eat every last scrap, moaning and groaning like they haven’t had a decent meal in years. during their feast, the eldest shepard sibling emerges from his bedroom, immediately causing a large grin to spread over your face.

most people describe tim as cold and detached, but you associate him with warmth and happiness. he’s a completely different person at home; you might even go as far as he’s rather goofy and bubbly. "mornin’, bub," angela greets her older brother. it melts my heart knowing how much his little siblings admire and adore him.

"hey, kid." he replies, stalking into the kitchen with a certain elegance that he always seems to carry around. "smells good in here," he nods his head to you, causing your cheeks to flush a light shade of pink and a giddy smile to arise on your lips. he pulls your body into a chaste kiss, which you attempt to savour every moment of. "tastes good, too," he smirks.

you roll your eyes in a playful manor, smacking his shoulder lightly. he chuckles lowly, grabbing  a plate from the cupboard above your head. he pecks the top of your head while he’s at it, then proceeding to load up his plate with the breakfast foods.

you take a long glance at him, inspecting every inch of his face that has proven to be more delicate than most people’d expect. the small scar on his lip, his green eyes that matched curly’s, and the black eye dallas winston gave him yesterday. you trace the bruise that outlines the shape of his eye, stopping him mid-action. "your eye looks better today, honey," you murmur, internally cringing at the pet name you called him. he loves being called honey, but you think it makes you sound like a mom.

he leans against the counter, wrapping an arm around you while you settled against his chest. curly pipes up, "marty’s parents are taking him to florida," he comments, earning a shrug from tim and his sister.

"good for marty," tim speaks, you chuckle.

"i wanna go to florida!" curly exclaims, making all of us laugh. it gives you some hope that he doesn’t care about the obvious reasons they can’t go to florida, but no one can deny that the idea of the shepard family going on a vacation to florida is funny.

"good luck with that, curls," you reply, escaping tim’s arms to collect the empty dishes from the kids. you place them in the sink, prepping to wash them while you wait for tim to finish.

"yeah, marty’s actually got parents to take him," angela makes a snarky remark. your heart cracks in half at the simple comment that you know had no malicious intent behind it. these kids have so much life in them, their mom and dad are missing out on the greatest gifts of all.

"watch it, kid." tim warns the teenage girl, whom rolls her eyes at her older brother. "you don’t need parents when you’ve got a tuff older brother and his hot girlfriend," tim attempts to lighten the mood by disgusting the children.

"true that," curly winks at you.

"curly, you little shit,"

you cackle at the interaction, leaning up against your boyfriend’s arm. he threads his fingers through your hair, watching his siblings finish up their toast with a sigh of contentment. "i’m outta here. thanks for breakfast, señorita," curly stands up from his seat at the island, skipping to the front door. you giggle, pressing your cheek to tim’s chest affectionately.

"me too. thanks, y/n," angela thanks you with a mouthful of toast, following in curly’s footsteps until they’re both half out the door in a matter of seconds.

"be safe, you two." you hum in acknowledgment to their thanks, the simple gesture making you feel fuzzy enough to want to make them breakfast for the rest of their life.

once the front door clicks shut, you turn to your boyfriend, grinning up at him widely.

"i think we made out alright, babe,"

You open the metal door that allowed the entrance to the Shepards house. You saw Tim on the couch. “Hi babe” you greeted to your boyfriend while closing the door.

“Where the hell have you been, you were suppose to meet me here 30 minutes ago.” He grumbled. “I know babe and im sorry its just i was at the store when I was leaving my shift and I saw my cousin and we chatted it up...” Tim interrupted your rant “No seriously where the hell where you!” His voice getting louder.

“I just told you Tim!” You scoffed. “Stop lying to me and tell me the fucking truth Y/N im serious!” He yelled this time more aggressive.

“Im telling you the truth Tim.” You refuted softly.

“Tell me the truth that your doing someone behind my back!” He growled.

“Really Tim.” You exclaimed. “We’re gonna start with this shit again.” You finished. “Who knows what your guilty ass is doing behind my back.” You accused.

“Dont try and turn this shit on me.” Tim fumed. “This is so pathetic I don’t know whats got in your head, but I dont got time for this.” You said running out of the shepards house slamming the door.

Tim heard the door open shortly after Y/N ran out hoping it was her but it was just Angela.

“What happen with you and Y/N?” She asked.

“What do you mean” Tim scoffed.

“Well I saw her running out on the street tears in her eyes” she answered. “You know I really like Y/N” she added. “I just hope you dont ruin shit like you always do.” Angela concluded walking into the kitchen.

“Hey Angie wheres that little vato at.” Hey asked refering to curly.

“I dont know said he was going out.” Angela replied.

“That little shit has my car man, and I need it to get to Y/N’s house” he complained

“Why dont you just walk your lazy ass.” Angela suggested.

“Dont talk to me like that and you know why I don’t like to walk.” He concluded.

He knew Curly aint gonna show up anytime soon, he had no choice to walk.

Tim really loved you he just had a hard time showing it with everything you guys have been through a lot and he had to keep a tough guy image and all.

You heard a knock on your door. You open the door you sort of knew it would be Tim.

“What the hell do you want.” You huffed.

“Y/N babe im sorry” he mumbled

“Really Tim and you think an apology is gonna fix all this..” you stated

“Well yeah” he scoffed. “Tim i what I need is assurance that you wont tell me things like that lately youve been putting me down.” You murmer.

“Your the one that puts me down.” He claimed.

“I don’t and if I do its because you put me down first.” You huffed.

Tim was a complicated guy and you loved him but if this kept going you had to end it.

“Look babe im sorry its just i know im a good for nothing and I don’t want you to leave me.” He said.

“Oh babe,id never leave you, you should know that.” You gasped softly pressing a kiss on his lips.

“Curly told me about the guy at the store, he said you guys looked like you were flirting.” Tim mentioned “i just dont want you leaving me for someone else.”

You smacked Tim in the back of his head.

“Oww babe what was that for.” He complained.

“Jesus Tim I work there I got help customers that aint flirting.” You said.

“Your gonna pay for that.” Tim smirked.

“Oh really.” You challenged.

“Oh really” he said back, kissing you again and you just giggled

Dally: - First base - Really good at stealing - Agressive - Almost always gets the batter out - Strong hitter - Good runner - Once he hit the ball right at the pitcher and hit him in the stomach - He always wins the seed spitting contests

Tim Shepard: - Pitcher - Has a really good fastball and curveball - Good arm - Throws 60-70 mph balls on average - Almost always strikes - He’s just like the best pitcher - Strong hitter - But not very accurate - Once he hit a home run and was so stunned that he almost forgot to run the bases - Decent runner - Once tried to beat up the other team’s pitcher - It’s a good thing they play backyard games

Curly Shepard: - Center feld - Consantly has to listen to Steve and Soda’s banter - So fed up - Agressive - Good hitter - But he swings at balls and doesn’t at strikes - Tim’s always yelling at him for it - He improves though - Becomes one of the best hitters on the team - Good runner - Got hit in the balls with the ball once - Always stealing seeds - Good at catching the shin- level balls (As a softball player, I can say those are definitley the hardest to catch)
