Summary:

"Jaskier, don't open the ...!" Geralt shouts, but it is already too late. The cast iron padlock still in his hands, Jaskier's eyes grow wide as the heavy wooden lid rises an inch by itself. Then, many tiny fingers sneak through the gap. The lid lifts several more inches into the air ... Jaskier spends some time at Kaer Morhen. Being his usual curious self, of course, he gets into trouble and Geralt has to save his bard. Inspired by the WitchermonsterMAYhem prompts Day1 "Don't open the ...", Day3 "Tiny monsters", "Pointy Teeth" and Day 7 "Isn't it cute?"

horn worm update

I know, you are just waiting on pins and needles to find out what happened to those horn worms I was taking care of a few months back!!!

Well, they did a good job of making their little pupas and they stayed alive and hydrated in their own guest bedroom for many weeks.

But you guys, I had to go on vacation for over a week and there would be no one to release them if they hatched! I was sooooooo worried for them!

They were good little wigglers but they were not hatching, so I decided I would just bury them in my garden loam and wish them good luck in nature. I took pics, but the pics died with Sharon's motherboard.

I might go take a peak at their location to see if there are an holes or if they are still there....fingers crossed.
