they're just that annoying comic relief character that has nothing going on except to be bumbling comic relief in such a large, overexaggerated way... drives me insane
Chip (Beauty and the Beast)
He is so. Goddamn. Annoying. Yeah yeah he's got a valid role in the plot toward the end but with a little story tweaking to cover that he could be removed entirely to the vast improvement of the movie. He disrupts the 'feel' of almost every scene he's in and is easily the worst thing about this otherwise fantastic movie

Jiminy Cricket (Pinocchio 1940)
I know he probably won’t get many votes but this is the only place I think I’ll be able to speak my peace. This cricket infuriates me. He is an awful conscience. I know Pinocchio is an impulsive kid, but whenever he ignores Jiminy’s advice, Jiminy just abandons him! He gets mad and leaves Pinocchio alone in a bad situation. This happens twice, it’s a pattern. He did a bad job and didn’t deserve that medal.
