Okay, you guys need to just breathe for a minute.

Ready? All right then.

We understand this post is a year old, but this needs to be addressed. These allegations are serious and it’s going to be taken seriously, but at the same time, none of you provided links to said behavior. These days just about anyone can exclaim they were harassed on the internet, but there’s an unlikely chance of it being bought if there’s no evidence.

First of all - you have supplied so many examples of being bullied and hated on. A very alarming number of examples, to be correct. You all agree that in one way or another, a TJLCer has abused you in a specific way. If this abuse is real, we’re concerned why you never brought up the individual’s name. Why? to protect them? From what?  If this person is indeed being abusive, they deserve to be known. And before you start coming up with sassy comebacks, know this: it’s also easy to point fingers at a specific person, but if you’re going to spout accusations like these, you better do your research and prepare to whip out your proof of when it happened, how, what, why, etc. Screen shots are your best friend in these cases, and we see none. Regardless of which ever ship or fandom or come from, abuse is not a light manner to be treated in such, and judging by the lack of damning material you aren’t providing it just shows that you’re 1) simply lazy and 2) would rather just close your eyes and point your blame at a random object.

This is just a list of people saying they were bullied. By whom? No one knows. When? No one knows. How did it happen? No one knows.

Look at those links. That wasn’t so difficult.

We note that this is not to throw back these accusations you made, but they’re to expose how quick Anti-Johnlockers are to judge TJLC. It’s clear from the get go that we have been hated. For what reason? We didn’t create TJLC to shit on other ships. It was for our own enjoyment. The only people who ever took anything bad from TJLC or made it sound as if we were trouble makers from the beginning were -- ? Anti-Johnlockers. Why were/are you so upset with us?

There seems to be a lot more of Antis talking about us than the other way around, and giving out harsh claims that we are among the rudest and worst shippers around - and then when you take a look around at TJLCers, they hardly mention the Antis, unless they send us an ask, message, etc. With this in mind, if TJLCers rarely engage with haters - seeing how we’ve been “so busy enjoying our little conspiracy” - why would Antis ever believe that we spend more of our time OBSESSING about them, when they’re the ones doing it?

Why has there been so much gnashing of teeth and talk of TJLC from Anti-Johnlockers, and .001% of hate from us? Why is there so little proof that we have been the so-called bullies?

You guys in the screenshots above and anyone else who has proclaimed to have been abused by ANYONE should really be careful about shooting out accusations without proof (because we do take shit like that seriously and it’s insulting to actual victims of harassment should these accusations be fake), and please do ask yourselves: who’s been more obsessed about who does what in their free time?

So the majority of these were found either around the time of TFP’s airing or afterward:

Some of these screenshots were taken with the blogger’s reply because when you’re receiving anons like these then you have every right to fight back. A lot of these anons were no doubt from the same person, sending messages to a particular blog repeatedly. So we understand why some Johnlockers got fed up and told them to “shut the fuck up.”

PLEASE READ: One may look at these and ask, “Shouldn’t there be more? I thought you guys always stumble upon the motherload.” And you’re right. There ARE more. But rather than give in to gluttony and post EVERY SINGLE ANTI-TJLC RECEIPT that we find, we only gather a few from each blog and post them here. Our posts are long enough that when we make Wank Receipts, we understand that not everyone has the Time and/or Energy to slowly scroll down and read everything. Which means that some receipts would be overlooked. So sometimes we have to make cuts. Which stinks sometimes, because if we wanted to, WE’D ADD EVERY HATE RECEIPT INTO THE POST.

Our point is, we do this to show you that THEY EXIST. They’re out there. And there’s a lot of them.

The following may need an explanation for those who either forgot or who weren’t around during this time, but long story short, someone logged into Mark Gatiss’s Wikipedia page and ... well made a couple of changes. They were hardly cruel at all, and most fans found it amusing - 1) how to pronounce his name (”GAH-tiss”) and 2) adding “queerbaiter” to his list of occupations. They were changed back eventually (anyone can log into Wikipedia and edit anything) but luckily screenshots were taken:

Yeah, needless to say, there was an overreaction from the anti-TJLCers. We couldn’t do anything without an Anti breathing down our necks. Anyone who remotely talked about what happened was a suspect in their eyes.

Technically, we were terrible people for fooling around with Mark Gatiss’s Wikipedia page. It’s not like Mark and Steven ever fooled around with their fans for years and years. There’s a difference between making a small edit on how to pronounce someone’s last name, and making your fans believe that there was something going on between Sherlock and John but only to turn around and lie and say WE were the delusional ones.

Speaking as someone who’s been there from the beginning, TJLC is not to blame for the actions of some people in the past. We could run a whole separate blog on coming to the defense of TJLCers who were wronged. The Sherlock fandom is full of people who have made mistakes, just like every other fandom that exists today. Our theories never hurt anybody, only annoyed those who had problems with a few of us in the past. But to accuse TJLC of being bullies just because you had a beef with two or more people X years ago is a weak excuse. TJLC is not associated with any of those past actions. Like we said - we could run a whole separate blog on situations like this. But you can’t hate all TJLCers just because one or two persons ticked you off in the past.

99% of TJLCers are actually very nice people. We were just overly excited about a OTP we shipped, and we were hoping for representation, that’s all.

Yes,what happened during TFP was messy, but that was mainly due to Johnlockers trying to come to terms that their hopes were dashed and also having to deal with anons who were constantly kicking them while they were down. It was MESSY. But during that time, none of the TJLCers reverted to bullying, harassing or insulting anyone unless it was an Anti stirring up trouble. We defended ourselves, as any person would have the right to do so. Most TJLCers drifted away from the fandom, and those that stayed are sharing fanfiction and fan art and other matters with each other. 

Meanwhile:

You had blogs like TJLCschadenfreude, sillytwatss, biiitheway, and TJLCguiltblog (to name a few) who’s sole purpose was to drag all Johnlockers. ALL. They’ve since then been either deactivated or ceased to post, but that’s kind of the case with Antis; always burning too hot with their hatred that they fizzle and die out and their blog gets left behind like a beaten up road sign that no one cares to look at anymore.

You’ve got people who are still actively hating on specific Johnlockers, whether those Johnlockers have left Tumblr or not. (For example, Sherlollians still hate Rebekah even though xe never did anything to them, other than make TJLC: Explained videos. Xe was one of the sweetest Johnlockers in the fandom, so why do people hate xer?)

People who are still addressing old complaints that have already been dealt with to death many times (because apparently beating a dead horse is popular these days) and saying that they have Dirt on us which is old news, because nowadays everyone has some Dirt on someone.

And people who are still saying that they wouldn’t inflict hate on anyone regardless of the circumstance ... and yet these are the exact same Antis that sent SO MUCH HATE to Johnlockers during TFP that we saw a lot of this:

Just to let you know - since we’re sure the Antis probably still read this while waiting for the Pizza Delivery Guy - if, for example, Adlockers were in OUR place and watched TFP hoping for their ship to become canon, only to be heartbroken, no Johnlocker would be shoveling hate into their ask boxes. Because that’s the lowest of the low. 

You don’t call someone ugly and horrible and wish for them to be harassed someday.

You don’t call someone stupid and deaf.

You don’t tell someone that they don’t deserve to be represented.

You don’t tell someone that their presence makes you want to puke.

You don’t tell someone that they’re so low on the worth scale that they’re basically human garbage.

Keep in mind that while TJLCers are off writing fanfiction and contentedly going about their lives --- this kind of shit is still going on between Anti-Johnlockers.

TL;DR: Antis are cowards and they went around bullying TJLCers on anon when we didn’t do anything to deserve it.

Hey everyone! TJLCers make Petra mad. They make her s0 mad! They make her so mad because we ship a gay ship. But does she ship any m/m or f/f ships? Probably not. All of the OTPs she ships are all highly abusive, so maybe IDK, before she judges all the johnlockers in one handbasket of shipping a pairing that yah, has had its bad moments (Sherlock “committing suicide” in front of John, John beating up Sherlock to a pulp - btw, I HATED THAT, so I suppose I’m out of the loop of all the horrible, horrible johnlockers *eye roll*) she should take a step back and realize that, for example, Reylo would never happen and that there are headcanons of Kylo and Rey that would make 50 Shades of Gray look like a Britney Spears video - and that Sherlock and Molly are obviously never going to be together except in their dreams. If they were meant to be together, that ship would have sailed within the first four episodes. Completely.

Oh, but let’s not forget all times Molly has been mistreated by the sherl0lly writers. Most of the time she’s unhappy or she’s hurt or she gets sick and dies, all for a chance that Sherlock can grieve and mourn, and they can all get that twisted 1970 Love Story plot that ends in torment.

Nevermind that Johnlockers are evil people and love abuse. Nevermind that we’ve never written Molly with a happy ending in our fanfictions.

Oh wait. Neither of those statements are true.

...has the same moral standards. Not everyone harasses people and is rude because they ship. They don’t automatically invalidate characters or force their view upon others. Please get a grip. If you don’t want to see our meta and theories, just look away. Practice some tolerance yourself before you expect it from others.

it's been 2 days since the sherlock finale and i just wanna say... fucking suck it... fuckin suck it u lil misogynistic pricks, u who were ready to excuse all the shitty characterisation and borderline abuse and were ready to demonize literally every female character, u who only defend a character's sexuality once it's convenient to ur narrative.... u had it fucking coming and now maybe u can migrate to a fandom actually deserving of the hype.
