After episode 24 .. i really believe that the moment the MC learns about the truth she will manage to restart again but this time with her memories intacted allowing her to attend all the missing memories we didn't get to see during the story!
Like, i really thought it was odd how the game skipped and only mentioned some events in a haze, for example, the Samhain event or the kitchen fire incident or even Hotarubi's festivals, and last but not least the clash.
What if the reason we weren't shown any of that was so we could have content for the time reset and maybe have the mc arrive in Darkwick Academy even earlier to see the clash with her two eyes while attending as a first year rather than a second year 👀
Moral of the story is that lots of the characters will die, so remember to stay chill. They will live again 👍
Jiro wasn’t at Darkwick until his accident? In an earlier chapter it does mention victims of anomalous incident are often sent to Darkwick general even if they aren’t students/institute staff.
did Jiro go to another school? Or just, didn’t attend a school at all?
when must he have become a ghoul? Does this have anything to do with his strained relationship with Zenji?
unless I’m reading this wrong?
or has this been said before and I’m just forgetting something again?
At first Nancy does look like normal limbless doll
However, don't you just find her design a bit too similar to a certain thing?
White torn up dress
A creepy threaded smile like mouth
Puffy hair slightly taking a flower like shape
And last but not least, one eye
Isn't she waay too close to the flower witch ,Kyklos
If you even look closer at Nancy's hair, doesn't it also resemble the top flower on Kyklos' head, the flower in which our MC is associated with, "Spider Lily" the flower of death!
My theory is that the "LIER" in the story is no one other than the "innocent powerless doll" Nancy
But what if i told you this is Nancy's LIE
before this doll got introduced to us, the brother mices shared two important things about her
One Nancy is a doll with no hand and legs
Second Nancy is always found in the marketplace
Whats so weird about this ?
Let's start with the first point
Again, who was the pair who shared this piece of information with us ? Yes, it was the mices, THE BLIND MICES!
Nancy could easily hide the fact that she can move freely by LYING to the blind mices, she could easily share this information to everyone then just hide them below her long dress, or who knows, maybe it is true.. but on the other hand, she could have a special ability, like the ability to float in the air !
Point two
Nancy is ALWAYS at the marketplace!
Interesting... then where was she when the MC and ghoul visited in the second day!
Sus sus sus!!!
Not to forget another critical information
Indian has a crush on "NANCY" Doesn't this make her processes of getting the ARROW easier ???
With all evidence combined and with the theory of Nancy having the ability to fly, wouldn't this make it possible for her to kill ROBIN,escape through the storage room window after poisoning the older mouse, and even push Humpty Dumpty off the fence
Is Taiga really interested in the Laurel Crown ???
Just as Ritsu's report indicated Sinostra ONCE aimed for the Laurel Crown. At that time The captain and his vice captain worked hard for it, going on missions, taking down anomalies, and slowly earning themselves a great reputation from those around them in the academy as being a great duo
However ... months laters, the Clash happened, the Laurel crown got cancelled, lot's of students went to "a phase" of no return, and the great duo,Romeo and Taiga, relationship ended bitterly.
Romeo, the one who started working under the Academy receiving special orders, missions, and volunteering in experiments.
On the other hand, Taiga broke all his connections, NEVER to trust the Academy again.
While both of them did indeed go separately, one thing stayed common, they no longer cared nor batted an eye to the cancellation of the Laurel Crown.
Back to the present time
The MC comes to Darkwick Academy, learns about the Laurel Crown, and decides that the best course of action "for her" is to revive it back, lucky she do get the opportunity but has to get all ghouls aboard with her
Now !
This takes us to the MOST interesting part
In the moment of giving her speech to "hype" the ghouls
One person objects ! Who was that ? That's right, it was Taiga, the carefree soul who refused to tag along with the Academy's schemes
Luckily, Romeo is also there. He will definitely stop his captain just like he did at the beginning of the meeting
.. where did Romeo go ?? WASN'T he the one scolding him to sit down and behave a second ago ?
Why haven't he done the same when Taiga rose up to leave ? Is he just letting him go ?
Answer is simple
Romeo himself doesn't care either about the revival of the Laurel Crown
But one trigger
changed everything
Jin came up stage aiding the MC, doubling the money prize
Surely this surprised all students, but we got to see only one "game character" reacting to it
With this one comment, small reaction everything changed
Taiga now joins the game .. causing this elite scene to unfold
So was Romeo reaction thaaaat important ?
Short answer: Yes, it was
After all, guess who also remarked on it ???
It's p.Hyde
Hyde knew that if money was placed on the table, Romeo's uncontrollable greed would cause Taiga to move, too. He knew the moment Jin doubled the amount Romeo would react as if anticipating it.
And to Taiga, who was still nearby, must have noticed, He was still uninterested
BUT BECAUSE ROMEO INTEREST PEAKED the show ended the way it did.
The last thing i wish to highlight as evidence to Taiga's actions is that he himself isn't the type of person who would go after money, especially his current self
There are only two his current self care about the most: Anomalies & Gambling
Not wealth, not cash, not money ..
On the contrary, who is the man who almost got trapped in an illusion because of his greed ?
Who was it the one who stole an accessory from a corpse because he found it valuable?
It wasn't Taiga, NEVER Taiga
But always Romeo Scorpius Lucci ...
This takes us to my last point
As the story progresses, Sinostra ends up receiving a "special" mission via Romeo connection with p.Hyde
Hearing this, Taiga immediately takes a step back. Not only does he despise the Academy, but he also hates those associated with it and more likely p.Hyde due to his unpleasant connection to Romeo
He knew that going on missions and attempting to go after the prize won't do any good, explaining his "sudden" lack of enthusiasm during discussion.
As long as his hatred toward the Academy remains and their manuplative hands are surrounding Sinostra ..
Taiga won't change his mind on the prize
However, this doesn't mean he won't offer any help to the MC. He will ! But cautiously to ensure whatever he does won't benefit the Academy, too.
Okay weird question, but if you finished the story yet (tkdb s1), what are you prediction for the rest s2? Sorry if i'm bothering you with that question dbdnndnd
I am completely caught up in the story, yes 😊 and it’s no bother! I love getting asks lol, you’re perfectly fine! I love getting ‘weird questions’ especially 🤗
To be completely honest, I have no idea what to expect, or what to hope for. I don’t watch/read nearly enough anime/manga to be familiar with any kind of storytelling habits or tropes, but here is some stuff I would definitely *like* to see happen, or small things that I hope will be addressed going forward 🫡
(It’s kinda long, spoilers under the cut. Sorry if it’s nonsensical I’m not very good at theory posts lol)
I definitely think Kaito’s death isn’t…final. Now, that’s not to say that I think he’s coming back to life, or anything like that, no. I do think he is dead. I just don’t think that, much like Zenji’s death in the previous year, we’re not done talking about Kaito. We know Darkwick has cryogenically frozen Zenji’s body because they want to get as much purpose as they can out of it, due to him being a ghoul. Whether or not they do this right away with Kaito, due to all the destruction and chaos currently happening around campus, I don’t know. But we are not done with Kaito.

Honestly there were so many little mini cliffhangers between every house/every ghoul, it’s hard to know where to start with some of these theories lol. But one that really kinda stuck with me was Mortkraken’s ghouls, Yuri and Jiro, since both are kinda hanging right in the dead centre of major conflict. Yuri looks like he’s on the verge of some kind of mania, all the season 1 specimens literally breaking out and destroying the lab around him. Now, I don’t know exactly where this will go, seeing as the chaos those anomalies wrought the first go round, now that they’re all breaking free at once. The only reason they were able to neutralise the immortal anomaly in the first place was because of Jiro, who’s currently on the other side of campus trying to keep Lucas from falling irreversibly off the deep end (more so than he already has.) I don’t see Yuri going batshit, so to say, but I do believe some mistakes are about to be made. Ones that, most likely, will end in his somehow getting hurt, or causing greater harm to what’s around him, because he might not be able to rely on his stigma.

The Obscuary ghouls also have me thinking, and unfortunately, I honestly don’t see any good turnout for any of the three of them. Lyca, if I recall, has just run off to go and find that general student and if that student dies and Lyca is the last one to be discovered with him, it’ll be a Rui incident all over again, and I don’t think Ed will be standing up for Lyca in the same way as he did with Rui. We also know that Rui is going to be held back, due to Darkwick believing him to be to dangerous for the general public, and wanting to keep him basically confined to the campus. As of right now Darkwick claims they’re still investigating what happened during the clash, but seeing as all hell is literally breaking loose, who know where that progress will be falling back to. Also regarding the clash—I do think Rui is the one who killed the genera student. Why or how, I can’t be sure, but I do think it was him. Knowing what we know about Rui, however, his values and his beliefs, I think he had to have had a good reason. Also, knowing what we know about Ultio, and the general student who died was from Ultio, solidifies that belief, for me.

I want to know more about the link between Sinostra (mostly Taiga) and the ‘lost‘ Dionysia students. We know Mio is back, namely to fix up a bunch of stuff around Darkwick, but we’ve yet to see him and we know that despite Haru’s and Elias’ assumptions, Taiga isn’t thrilled about the return. It’s been said before that Taiga didn’t seem to have had a problem with Mio in the past, so it makes me think that Mio perhaps isnt as innocent as assumed, or maybe has done something/gone to see Taiga in secret more recently that makes Taiga feel as though he’s untrustworthy, now. Furthermore, we know for sure that Taiga and Shion had issues, and that Haru and Shion used to likely be thick as thieves (pun intended). Since it was said at lockburn castle that Shion used to carry around some kind of crystal ball, I’m wondering if that was his stigma, or maybe was some kind of muck gig for him (Dionysia was a circus, after all). If it did have to do with his stigma, and the crystal ball was his artifact, maybe he foresaw stuff that he didn’t like, and for some reason went to Taiga whose stigma might be similar?
Oh, also on a note that kind of relates to this, I don’t think the time loop theory is what’s going on. Moreso, I think Taiga’s stigma maybe allows him to glance into possible outcomes, Dr. Strange style from Inifinity War. It makes him sharper, and it opens his mind to every possibility and the most likely to come true. How that relates to his hunger and his ability to devour whole anomalies, though, I don’t know for certain.

The Jabberwock trio honestly has me stumped, I won’t lie. On one hand, I honestly don’t think Ren will be leaving Jabberwock for good. If he does, it won’t be for long. On the other, if he does leave for good and submits that transfer request, what will actually become of Jabberwock once Haru leaves? Towa is unstable and he’s torn between everything happening—namely, Haru leaving, and the dying ‘fruits’ (which I do think somehow represent the ghouls). I don’t think Towa is going to be able to grasp being without Haru very well for very long, and we already know that the anomalous animals tend to suffer his bad moods. But something Ed said a while back, insinuating Towa is vital to the park’s survival, also has me thinking. When Towa was underwater in episode 3, the park was dark. Water stopped flowing. The animals were all out of order. Considering everything happening now, anomalies and monsters destroying the campus, I wonder if Jabberwock will survive to the next year now that Darkwick and the institute has every reason not to trust anomalies or ghouls again, considering they already don’t trust Obscuary, Alan locked up in Ultio, Dionysia ghouls abandoning the house, and now Lucas. If Darkwick survives, I don’t think Jabberwock will—at least not like it had before. We still don’t know what hot mess Jabberwock must have faced during the clash, considering no more general students were allowed to actually be in Jabberwock. We know anomalies tend to get more aggressive and appear more often when there’s chaos abound—it happened during the clash and it’s happening again now. I don’t think they have very many more restrictions to put on the house.

Even with mc’s curse cured, I seriously doubt Darkwick is going to be letting her go. Even after all of this. She’s had a whole year in this world, they’re not letting her go after all of that. No way. But I do still imagine they’re gonna be keeping closer tabs on her before, because if Darkwick so wanted to, they could honestly probably blame her for Kaito’s death. She was the only one there when the Monkey arm had granted Kaito’s wish to save her, and even if they were to believe her when she says this, they are too suspicious of her and of her connection to each of the ghouls, the sage’s ring, and her being so close to becoming an anomaly, that she is not going to be walking away from any of this freely. The institute and Darkwick are not done with her, either. And speaking of the sage’s ring, we still don’t actually know its full capabilities or potential powers! No further evaluation of it has been done, and we have no reason to believe that it can’t do more than just boost the ghouls’ stigmas.

I have more but honestly this has been sitting in my drafts since I started answering it and I honestly don’t have the energy to re-read it through again for inaccuracies or grammar errors 😭
if you want another post made, you’re more than welcome to send another ask 😅
