TMNTKR Introduction: Robyn

The baddie

Robyn is 25 years old and the oldest of her sisters. She's a college Fashion Design Major. Out of family she is the most well of financially. She has always had a bit of a snobby and catty attitude, but it only got worse when she entered college and got into her career

She's a closeted lesbian. She worries about her being gay affecting her career in the city, so she pushes it down. Her image and career comes first and she doesn't want to risk anything jeopardizing it, so she always tries to make herself more "marketable".

Rather than following trends, she likes to set them. This gives her a bit of a superiority complex above others. This has caused tension between her and her sisters. Over time she will begin to work on herself, but she isn't there yet. Deep down she knows she needs and wants to change.

Fun Question: The delightfully wildest/weirdest thing Robyn ever did?

I want to keep the ones based off of previous Aprils and the shenanigans she’s gone through/referencing older shows on the down low. To play a fun game of “did that actually happen in TMNT or am I making it up?” And why keep it to the one wildest? I want to keep one upping myself! Things I’ve been making up especially with prompts from friends:

“So apparently ostriches sometimes really like humans, and Robyn found out being an ostrich rancher wasn’t for her. Not for, you know, reasons. But apparently if they don’t like you they chase you down and Robyn couldn’t keep out running them and got tired of climbing trees.”

Or

“Oh my sister was doing research on food trucks and how they hold up to health codes and OSHA regulations and ended up so invested she bought one. She sold smoothies for like two weeks.” “And that’s it?” “Yeah, that’s it.” “Nothing happened? Just sold smoothies and gave it up?” “Oh, she stopped because she got into a drinking contest with some biker and got so drunk she traded it for a lobster.” A pause, “she threw it into the ocean.”

AHHH OMG THANK YOUUU🩷 Ofc I can tell u more abt her, this will also have some April in it

-Robyn DESPISED living in Texas when they were kids. Always skipping out on farm work and bribing April to do it instead

-She always performed fashion shows for April when they were younger

-Her favorite classes are animal science and AP art

-Robyn used to have the BIGGEST crush on Irma but was heart broken when finding out that she was dating Mikey

-She loves attention and having the spotlight on her

I just think it would be so funny if every time Robyn is mentioned or April calls her Robyn is doing something delightfully wild. As I slowly make my way through the 87 series I've been noting the bonkers things April had to deal with and I plan on using some (from all the series) as easter eggs for Robyn. She would always answer the phone nmw if it's family and sometimes she'd be busy "Can't talk now April, I'm giving a bobcat a bath." "Sorry mom, no can do, I have to go to a Hippo wedding." "Oh dang, gotta go 'Prils, the animatronic band at Trevor's party are malfunctioning. Totes gonna sue and I'll let you know how it went."

But as a running gag it brings me so much delight to think of weird things for her to do and make everyone April knows question if she's real or if April is messing with them. But we all get to know she is 100% real and living her best life. And of course if April really needs her big sister Robyn would be there for her nmw

Why does Robyn have a hearing aid in her left ear?

Other than why not?

While I’ve known many people who have hearing aids/implants the honest answer is because someday soon I’m probably going to need one. I’ve always gotten horrible sinus infections that lead to even worse ear infections and that led to severe scarring and permanent hearing loss in my left ear which only gets worse as I get older.
