Omg ok. I mean. Just look at Mathilda and her five kids. Clearly fertility runs in the family. And I imagine this caused a lot of issues when Jeremy was younger. I even imagine Leo got him pregnant, and that’s what pushed Warren to offer him a car to climb out of Jeremy’s bed. A pregnancy scare + an omega son in a conservative family like that is a terrible combination, so he goes on blockers, and the pill. Presents as a beta and can’t get pregnant and just feels . Awful. Like his body isn’t even his anymore. But he can’t get pregnant, so. At least there’s a bonus ?
And then he gets kicked out, and has to go off the blockers and the pills because he can’t afford them on his own, and he stops having sex entirely. Because he can’t get Jean out of his head, but also because he doesn’t want to risk getting knocked up by some awful man.
But then he and Jean get together, and he’s scared to DEATH of another pregnancy scare. What if he gets pregnant and it ends up just like last time? And would he even be good with a kid? Or would he just fuck them up and let them down just like he did with Noah? And it’s just not a good combo, him and kids. So he scrounges up the money and goes back on birth control.
And it’s…. Just as bad as it was before. He’s miserable. It changes his body and his hormones and his emotions. But once he and Jean actually get around to sex, jean finds out he’s on the pill (or whatever other contraception), and immediately wants to know the side effects. Jeremy pulls out the pamphlet and the moment he does, Jean’s eyes go comically wide, and a moment later, he’s telling Jeremy that he will get a vasectomy instead. And Jeremy’s so overwhelmed by it all and so heart warmed that he starts crying.
Ok but onto the freakier stuff —I do think that when jerejean get around to wanting kids and actively start trying, they try once and it … immediately takes. And they’re so excited but also Jeremy’s a little upset because he wanted to be able to try properly. Month after month of going at it nonstop. And Jean’s like. Who says we cannot keep trying, mm? Maybe it was a false positive. And then of course they end up back in bed.
But uhhh… I also think they both prob have a thing for it. Like yeah, they’re turned on by trying and trying and trying (both when they’re actually trying, and when they’re just pretending), but I also think they prob get even more turned on by the fact that it was so easy and ruined their plans to try and try and try.
Alsoooo I fear Jeremy’s doctor is begging Jean to get off him. They of course wait the recommended time between pregnancies for sex, and Jeremy likes to time them so he’s not losing so much court time, but still for like a few years it is just back to back to back to back. It gets to a point where Jeremy’s fans see Jeremy off the court and just immediately assume he’s pregnant
