In my main Tobikin AU, Kinkaku and Tobirama do no get together it would just cause complications around these harsh times during war, with Tobirama being Hokage and Kinkaku being Raikage (or just an elite kumo jounin).
BUT, there is also an AU where there are no complications. While they do not live together as each has to run their village, they can still visit each other.

Red and Blue makes a nice aesthetic~ Sadly Tobirama X Kinkaku barely has any wholesome content, if any at all!… Also I wanted transformed jinchuurikis be more ‘‘animal’‘ like, as in getting paws instead of feet. I hate how they keep the human ears aside the fox ones, it looks so weird to me.
Personal headcanon: If a (pseudo) jinchuuriki has full control of their (beast’s) chakra, they can decide wether it hurts/burns others or not. Seen with Killer Bee, who could grab others in version 2 state without harming them. Then, touching the cloak will just feel warm but not cause injuries.

Apparently foxes can purr and wag their tails? I imagine Kinkaku purrs often, especially under the influence of the kyuubi chakra when happy. Especially in his transformed state. In that form his purrs sound like a car engine winding up, due to the deep barritone voice. :,D Sometimes even wagging tails and kicking his leg.
While Tobirama is strong, Kinkaku is very protective over him. I love such a ship dynamic. Creature that can crush your skull with one hand but is so tender with their S/O and would rip anyone apart who hurts them.
