-honestly, Tokimitsu fell first and he fell SO HARD. LIKE. Always got very blushy and nervous around you so his crush was very obvious. WHICH MADE HIM EVEN MORE SELF CONSCIOUS.

-even though how much he liked you was so obvious, you never talked to him about it or made any big moves by yourself. You knew how quickly he becomes anxious, so you let him go at his own pace

-as said already, Tokimitsu fell first. You started falling back for him when you noticed his crush on you. He was always so cute towards you, how could you not develop the same feelings?

-he overthought the way he would confess to you A LOT. At least one hour a day. Often more than that. Most of the time when he was trying to fall asleep

-even though he came up with a proper plan on how he would ask you out, he always backed out of his plan when he was getting one step closer to it

-every time you noticed he was starting to make some sort of progress you'd get your hopes high a little, only to be disappointed whenever he backed out. But you've always been understanding of how anxious he gets over everything, so it never frustrated you or turned you away from him. You really just wanted him to take his time and confess when he's ready

-it took him at least a month of constant trying and backing out of it until he finally confessed his feelings to you. It was very different from how he's planned it, tho. It was also more of an accident when he said "I love you" in a panicked moment instead of following the plan he made up

-it caught you a bit off guard, but of course, you immediately said "I love you, too" as if it was an instinct

-it took him like 10 minutes to process what you said, he kept panicking and asked you over and over if you were serious because he was so scared you only said it out of pity

-in the first days of your relationship, he keeps asking you this as well. But after a few days, the reassurance is enough and he gets very happy over the fact that you love him as much as he loves you

-no matter at what stage your relationship is, Tokimitsu gets anxious over little things. You texted in a different tone than usual? Your voice sounds stressed in a voice message? You decline his offer for your nightly phone call before you go to sleep? He gets anxious.

-he never gets afraid of you not loving him anymore because you're so reassuring regarding that, but he always gets worried about you feeling unwell or if something happened that makes you act like you do

-with a few things he gets used to it, for example, he figures out how exactly your voice sounds when you're stressed and he knows what to do to calm you down

-if you decline the nightly phone call, he learns it's because you're too tired and don't want to fall asleep while talking, even though he wouldn't mind that. Sometimes you'd still agree to the phone call and fall asleep while listening to his voice

-while he's in Blue Lock, you miss him a lot. And he misses you so much as well. Even when he doesn't have his phone, you send him at least one "I love you" message every day, so when he gets his phone back he sees all those messages and they make him tear up and cry a little because it makes him realize how much he misses you

-he saw you among the viewers in the U-20 match and he thought he disappointed you for not getting to play during that match. But you don't care much about that. Instead, you're proud of him for making it so far in the first place
