Сцена: Лотлориэн. Ночь. Лунный свет касается воды, как дыхание.

Галадриэль склоняется над своим волшебным зеркалом. Её лицо спокойно, но в глубине глаз — тайна тысячелетий. Она не ищет будущего.

Сегодня она желает увидеть того, кто давно поселился в ее сердце.

И вода отзывается.

На зеркальной глади проступает его лицо.

Гэндальф — не в сером, но в белом, озарённый светом. Он не смотрит на неё. Он смотрит сквозь время, вглубь миров. Его взгляд тревожен.

Он думает о судьбах народов. О зле, которое просыпается.

О себе — никогда.

Галадриэль улыбается чуть заметно. Не как королева — как женщина, которая любит того, кто выше любви.

«Ты всегда был светом, Олорин. Не для меня — для мира.

И всё же… я помню тебя.

Помню, как ты говорил с цветами. Как смеялся над небом.

Помню тебя до всех битв, до всех масок.»

Она не плачет. Эльфийки не плачут по тем, кого не могут иметь.

Они помнят. И хранят.

Она касается воды, и его образ исчезает, как ветер в листве.

Но тепло остаётся.

«Если бы мне позволили, я бы была для тебя тенью в саду.

Но ты должен светить тем, кто остался в тьме.

А я — сохраню этот свет.»

Scene: Lothlórien. Night.

Moonlight touches the water like a breath.

Galadriel leans over her magic mirror.

Her face is calm, yet in the depths of her eyes—

a mystery of millennia.

She does not seek the future.

Tonight, she wishes to see the one

who long ago settled in her heart.

And the water answers.

Upon the mirror’s surface,

his face begins to take shape.

Gandalf—not in gray, but in white, bathed in light.

He does not look at her.

He gazes through time, into the heart of the worlds.

His eyes are troubled.

He thinks of the fate of peoples,

of evil awakening.

Of himself—never.

Galadriel smiles faintly.

Not as a queen—

but as a woman who loves one who stands above love.

“You have always been light, Olórin.

Not for me—but for the world.

And yet… I remember you.

I remember you speaking to flowers.

Laughing with the sky.

I remember you before all battles, before all masks.”

She does not weep.

Elven women do not cry

for those they cannot have.

They remember.

And they keep.

She touches the water,

and his image vanishes—

like wind through the leaves.

But the warmth remains.

“If I were allowed,

I would have been a shadow in your garden.

But you must shine

for those still lost in the dark.

And I—

I will carry that light.”

I saw someone trying to defend Denethor, saying he wasn't as bad in the books... But he still told Faramir, he wished he had died???? He still tried to kill Faramir???? He's still in the wrong even if he was corrupted by the palantír. Like Boromir was still in the wrong to try to take the Ring from Frodo, but even then he didn't' actually try to kill him, you can't compare him to Denethor trying to kill his own son???
