Oil Can Harry

The villainous Oil Can Harry started off as a lovesick cad who bedeviled Fanny Zilch and her good-hearted suitor, Leffingwell Strongheart.  He would later become an arch-nemesis of Mighty Mouse wherein his many criminal schemes were thwarted by the hero.  Harry frequently wooed Pearl Pureheart and her repeated rebuffs of his advances resulted in the despicable Harry repetitively  abducting her and put the damsel in harm’s way.  Fortunately Mighty Mouse would arrive to save the day.

Oil Can Harry's first appearance was in the Terrytoons short, ‘The Banker's Daughter,’ released on June 25, 1933.  Harry’s earlier appearances were all operatic with the dialogue sung rather than spoken.  It is unrevealed who sang Harry’s first appearance in The Banker’s Daughter, but singer Tom Morrison voiced the villain in his initial confrontation with Mighty Mouse, in the 1945 theatrical serial, ‘Mighty Mouse and the Pirates.’

On October 16, 1942, Mighty Mouse (then known as Super Mouse) made his debut in the Terrytoon short "The Mouse of Tomorrow." He was designed to be an anthropamorphic parody of superman. ("The Mouse of Tomorrow", Animated Short, Event)

Ring Pull Up & Dip Progressions for Beginners

I love how these two break down movements. I'm doing their Simplistic Mobility Method but the easiest versions of the exercises because I am weakling. My current nemesis is the side plank march, which is demonstrated at the very end. I've been trying a mid level regression where my couch is supporting my upper body but I need the easier version of that. I think I just need to hang out on my side like they show here.

Ideally, I'd like to eventually lift again but limited range of motion causes poor form which causes you to possibly strengthen a bad habit and potentially cause injury. This guy has absolutely done that. He forced himself through injuries and messed himself up to the point of needing surgery.
