I was trying to find Kryptonian courting rituals and there’s not alottttt but I read that on Krypton they exchanged bracelets instead of rings. Which I feel is slightly more practical (and subtle) for both Clark and Bruce. The stones used are green cause it reminds Clark of kryptonite and the only person he trusts with the dangerous stone IS Bruce. Plus in a fun sense they’re each others kryptonite:))
