I was raised by strong women who told me that woman should “tone down” everything for men. And the reason they told me? Men are weak in their spirit. Men flip out for tiniest of unfortune. Men can’t even stand sound of kids crying etc. Men just pretend to have it all together and they rule over women because of GOD SAYS SO. They viewed this all as a test of your worth in the eyes of God.

I’m pretty sure this kind of thinking in any religion is the reason why women don’t riot already in the most religious circles and how they justify seemingly woman-hating God. Fake matriachy is powerful tool for oppression.

We have the sum total of all human knowledge at ourfingertips 24/7, why would we give that up? Saying that one generation or another just needs to do things the way we did it when we were their age, has been going on since the dawn of time. Let them be them and you be you. If a smart phone app helps people live a healthier happier life, not for us to judge or shame.”

Chris:  “ Not shaming anyone. I have friends from all across the world too. Guess what? I don't talk to them 24/7. I go outside and I put my phone down. I will take pics at certain times. But I go up and conversate with a real person sitting in front of me. People are like How do you know so many people around here? It is because I involve myself with the people around me. Me: I never took it personal. I made a discussion and a rational argument happen using myself as a point of reference, much like people have been doing since forever. But your inference in the first and second comment was clear, your way is the best way and those who don't live the same way are in the wrong. I suggest you reread with a more critical eye and see how its a subtle but clear tell. Either way...if you get it and finally understand or even if you don't. I wasn't taking it personal, I don't need to take it "easy". A lively discussion is not forbidden.
