I saw a previous ask where the batkids got their wisdom teeth taken out, so may I request clingy batkids after having their tonsils removed?🙏😃
Sure! Not as familiar with this one, but I'll give it a go!
Dick: starts crying immediately when he comes to and touches his neck a ton- "but where'd it go?" even though there's no difference that he can actually feel he stills mourns his tonsils and forces Bruce to say words for a mini funeral before Bruce takes him to go get ice cream
Jason: mildly disoriented- anesthesia always makes him woozy- and the throat pain reminds him of smoking and his childhood so he forgets for a minute that he's big now and bonks his head getting into the car because he thought he was smaller
Tim: Refuses to let go of Bruce's hand and requires Bruce to hold every item of food while he's drinking it through a bendy straw and smiling over at him every so often. When they go home literally rings a bell to get Bruce to bring him liquid food with a straw
Steph: Bruce is experienced by her turn and has a milkshake waiting when she's awake and she declares right there that she wants to marry him and then promptly goes "ow" and then keeps talking and Bruce is just... sighing
Damian: Wrinkles his nose when he wakes up and refuses to eat ice cream or milk shakes because they're "beneath his throat" but will drink the tea Bruce offers and holds his hand the whole way home
Cass: Refuses to get the surgery no matter what happens- her voice has been through too much already, she doesn't want it.
Duke: Starts talking just like Steph- winces- and then apologizes. Bruce tells him fondly to shut up and hands him his strawberry milkshake.
Barbara: Does the operation on herself without anesthesia- no im just kidding. Has the operation like everyone else and makes Bruce carry her home and squeezes his hand every time she swallows because it "hurts". Refuses to drink her own milkshake but eats half of his.
Lmao that's all I've got, sorry, but I hope you enjoyed<3
When it comes to the batfam discovering that Tim Drake is missing his spleen, it is typically portrayed either as an injury or illness becoming very problematic due to his lack of a significant part of the immune system, or some kind of argument about Tim feeling that the batfam doesn’t care about him in the same way he cares for them. While both of these are entertaining, I find the more mundane conversational bombshell approach: someone is missing their appendix, another has had their tonsils out, someone still has all their organs, and… what do you mean you don’t have a spleen??
tonsils are the body's evil advisors. you will get along great for years and then they will betray you and you will never see it coming because all this time you have been keeping careful tabs on your appendix who as it turns out has always had a heart of gold
Do you get tonsil stones?
Yes, often
Yes, sometimes
I have once or twice
No, I've never gotten them
Tonsil stones are hard little whiteish things in your tonsils that smell really bad (calcified bacteria/debris). You might sometimes spit them up without ever having seen them in your tonsils.

Out of these three body parts, what are you missing?
I still have my tonsils, wisdom teeth, and appendix
Just appendix gone
Just tonsils gone
Just wisdom teeth gone
Appendix and tonsils gone
Appendix and wisdom teeth gone
Tonsils and wisdom teeth gone
All three are gone
"Tonsil Tonic", "The Tonsil Tale"
Chocolate bar becomes doughnut. Little Betty wears a beret.
"Laryngitis" become more focal in the 1970s, or did Taylor decide he needs a former explanation than "something wrong in your throat"?
Dilton's appearance appears superfluous, his expression on why he is not joining in buying Jughead ice cream for his tonsil removal more mean sounding than it is. For Pop Tate, is that a way to run a business? For Weatherbee and Grundy, a way to educate?
"Rather lose an arm than a meal" is a strange one to keep fixed. Jughead's mom not immediately available in 1951?
Only the Little Archie variant gets us the Fat Jughead image.
Everything's just fine
