I had an incredibly frustrating doctor appointment early this week. I don't know if he'd had a Bad Day up until me, or if my mentioning tinted glasses possibly helping with the visual snow was an "oh god not someone wanting miracle cures again" respons.
We went around in circles for a bit, but I at least walked out of there with a migraine preventative.
So fingers seriously crossed that Topamax helps the migraines, if not the visual snow.
Ayyyy Topamax mention woohoo some representation for headache/anti convulsant medication
Diversity win! House's patient self medicates with Topamax.
I did not have high hopes for today... but my strawberry friend (it's apparently a neurodivergent term we both have grown attached to) brought me a very very delicious slice of raspberry vanilla cake on her lunch break and it was just the sweetest thing 🥺
Also, today marks thirty three years I've been alive, and I still don't get the memes about "do you remember the twenty first of September" because... yes, that was the day of my birth, but obviously I'm missing something?
Anyway. I'm so fatigued, but starting to finally recover after my seizure over the weekend (did I mention that to you guys??) and I'm back on my regular bipolar meds, fuck caplyta. I get to have a spa day to celebrate with a few friends on Sunday which I am seriously looking forward to, this last month has just been so insanely shitty and I've been in so much pain so for the love of god, throw that cbd massage at me!!!
topiramate is a beautiful name for a baby girl
Just started topimarate (topamax) for migraines and holy hell does it knock me out. Presuming this is a short lived side effect and over time it'll even out but man it's been awhile since something has hit me like this. Anyone else on it? I already have massive loss of appetite for the last 6 months now so hoping it doesn't increases that even more as can't really afford to be losing weight more rapidly than I am but we'll figure that out. Just want it to even out soon because currently can't plan any evening things (not that I do much anyway) but until it levels a bit I can't be out the flat like this as I'm very very out of it.
Editing this just to say it really do make brain go brrrrrr. I only started it Friday but tonight it's hit me hardest and feel like my brain has just slowed down to a crawl.
Topamax is an irl bimboification drug
