I wish people stopped despising men who are feminine/"in womens spaces". Like god forbid somebody explores? Even if they don't end up being trans or this or that, who cares? Why can't that man buy panties or a bra? Why can't that man live vicariously in yuri? Who cares if that person who Looks Like A Man to you is in the lesbian bar not bothering anyone?

Genuinely too many of you have yet to let go of the patriarchy's brainwashing about the Evil Masculine trying to invade your pure feminine female spaces, and it harms people. I don't care if someone ends up cis, or even doesn't end up GNC & just is a masculine man later on. It literally harms nobody to let people in the same space as you without clutching your pearls.

And you shouldn't take this to heart because the person may be queer, you should take this to heart because fuck you why are you upholding oppressive social systems?

cis folk have gotten so comfortable deciding wether or not a trans woman "really" is trans and wether or not she "really" deserves to be acknowledged as a woman. and people in our community blindly support it. it's disgusting.

was going to add on with how furries treat trans women specifically too but i guess we aren't even thought of in the misogyny conversation.

there's posts going around of a trans woman saying "abortion bans affect trans women more than trans men," and people are rightfully angry, but... I think saying "no uterus no opinion" to a trans woman is transphobic... why can't you just say "you're being a wanker" why do you have to potentially trigger her disphoria as well? I just think it's so mean spirited to be like "well you haven't got a womb have you, lol skill issue" to someone who like... likely agonises over that. we can't have a little transphobia as a treat. we can't "only do it to the bad ones."

Hot take? I agree. Why even bring up someone's presumed biology? There's perisex FTM dudes on here who I literally see call other people "foids". The bad opinions are Not stored in the sex characteristics. TERFism to act otherwise.

I once made a character adopt that was meant to be transfem/a trans woman and the person who adopted them turned them into a transman. This happened years ago, I'm not transfem but this gave me the ick. I feel like on toyhouse specifically there is an issue with female and feminine characters in general.

Not that it needs a name, but I’m proposing the new term called “femmetransophobia” which specifically highlights the discrimination and negative treatment towards trans people who are femme presenting and identify as femme. 

It also highlights masc individuals within the trans community who specifically call femme presenting individuals “transtrenders”, and attempt to devalue and invalidate their gender identity. 

While femmephobia in general applies to all people, this applies specifically to instances in the trans community. I’ll be discussing it a bit later on, but here’s the individual post :D

It is interesting that people seem to be able to conceptualize "AFABs" as being capable of having complex experiences with gender, yet transfeminized people (presumed "males" and "AMABs") must subject themselves to impossible standards to perform womanhood enough to be acknowledged and accepted, lest we are just another patriarch who deserves nothing.

Thus is the transmisogynistic bias of the ATIB.

Disclaimer: I'm a cis guy, so lmk if I'm stepping out of line with this. I know this is a transfem blog, but this just pissed me off really bad. Hope I'm not intruding anything.

Common misconception! There is no such thing as a "transfem issue" that will not bleed out into other categories! Anyone can submit just. in general., and truly anyone can be afflicted.
