I really like the Mainframe but I already got 86 Jazz and ER Optimus I just wish I could get him separately.

I really wish one day a transformers series uses Mainframe as Teletraan I like the recent toy version.

Like, I know it doesn’t make much sense realistically, but I love the potential ideas of it.

Is there a difference between Teletraan I and Mainframe? Is Teletraan merely the name of his model of computer? Is Teletraan a basic AI which runs on Mainframe, and does Mainframe have access to teletraan when in robot mode?

Or does Mainframe loose his personhood when changing, and goes by Teletraan I since he’s basically just a computer AI while in that state? How does that affect him? Does he need to be reminded to transform if he does? Is he ashamed of being teletraan, or is he proud of being such an asset??

Story ideas are cool too - like maybe there can be conflict if Mainframe is captured, or maybe having to manage the ship while Mainframe is taking a break from being the computer. Or even silly moments like Optimus having to call him like “Hey Mainframe, sorry to interrupt your break, but we need to call the Decepticons. Yes, I promise you’ll get an extended break after this.” Or the Autobots are under attack and see a hole in the wall where teletraan is and Mainframe comes running through the door yelling “sorry!”” and transforms back into place and Prowl grumbles about him being late when he controls the damn ship.

I love the different ideas that could come through, and I’m always a sucker for seeing a large variety of alt modes with a variety of uses. And I love explorations of alt modes and why certain bots choose them (or don’t choose them).

Highbrow's visor is fully tinted glass, whereas his optics only have a single layer of tint on the outside (this wears away over time and is replenished by secretions from within the optical socket, much like an organic organism would produce tears). The sparkeater transformation causes the coding that controls that function to go dormant, leaving the optics' tint to get worn away and giving them that signature yellow coloration.

Perceptor's targeting lens functions similarly, even though it's deep-wired directly into his socket :D

Mecha that didn't originally have mouths generally have shorter cables than their mouthed counterparts, because their regenerative systems are preoccupied with growing them a proper mouth (you can't effectively eat sparks without a jaw, unfortunately :/). Given enough time and fuel though, their cables will eventually match the length of their packmates!

The transformation isn't pretty at first, because the body will cannibalize to metal that comprises the faceplate, but shortly after the mech is first turned, they'll have a new mouth and jaw :D

Sparkeaters are equipped with a mouth full of sharp dentae, some of which are serrated. Their equivalent of molars are often more heavily serrated, almost like a kind of grinder, since they'll use those in conjunction with their corrosive oral lubricant to tear off parts of their prey.

A sparkeater's cables sprout directly from their spinal cord and function both as defensive limbs and sensory ones. They're highly dexterous and touch sensitive, which is why sparkeaters use them for communication. Like a weird metal tentacle handshake XD

In addition, if given enough time, a sparkeater's cables will eventually take on the natural plating color! This means that while Forged sparkeaters may have colored cables, the vast majority of cold constructed will have silver cables (cold constructed mecha don't grow their own plating and thus don't have coding to account for plating coloration)

Transformers Mainframe

A Transformers fanfiction using @cybertronia-obscura Janurary prompt Supercomputer featuring Action Master character Mainframe and reference him having a toy that allow him to transform into Teletraan I.

Inside the Autobot base on the Ark, a red and blue Autobot wake up from his sleep and Wheeljack ask him, "Hey Mainframe, how are you doing? Can you transform and help me out?" Mainframe take a sigh and he transform into a computer as Wheeljack ask, "I need to understand how to make my lastest project not blow up." which Mainframe show in the screen.

A little after helping Wheeljack, Mainframe run into a group of Autobots and their human allies, with Bumblebee asking Mainframe, "Hey Mainframe, do you mind helping the kids with their homework?" and Mainframe sigh as he transform into his computer form and one of the kids ask, "Hey Mainframe, what is wrong?" which Mainframe said, "Because I'm one of the working computer around, most Autobots use me for my alternate mode, not my genius. I don't get why I'm cursed with this transformation."
