The term transgyne is beautiful to me.

I have long since struggled with the stereotypes of what being trans "actually" looks like, vs what my intersex experience looks like. Batted around calling myself only transexual for a bit, but while the term fits me, I rather not.

For my personal journey, I like using the word transgyne as an overarchibg thing. Yes, im transgender still. but idk. i just think its a really nice label to sum up my gender!!

What's crazy, @pleuvoire, is that if you look at the (SHORT) history of the term & what its actually about, you'd realized you're simply full of shit. But, sigh, if it's not apart of your shitcourse it's evil, right?

Like why would you self report that you only give a fuck about key-terms that tell you what queercourse opinions people have instead of actual conversations that help queer people? are you not embarrassed?

Anyways, creator of the term here! (yea fuck it I'll say it on main), I use the term transmisogyny. A lot. On that blog too! But it simply doesn't mean what you're trying to force it to mean.

transgynephobia is a term for any bigotry against transfeminized people. Transmisogyny is inherently about the conversation of misogyny intersecting with transphobia for transfeminized people. If you think one of these terms threatens the other you're fucking stupid.

Also, my family was in the nazi camps & I think it's disrespectful asf to throw around terms you don't care to even use correctly because they're emotionally charged & you think it does anything for your shitty opinions.

what does transgyne mean in a noun sense? is it like the word "transfems"?

Hi! Yes, it is the same as any group of people.

If you are signaling you are part of the group/use the label, you are a transgyne. If you are talking in the plural, you would say something akin to "they are transgynes". Hope this makes sense!:)

Transgyny (transgynist or transgyne/transgine): an umbrella term for any person that is trans woman (or any other wifgender transness) and/or transfeminine/transfemme.

While not all transfem(me)s are trans women, not all trans women identify as transfem(me) either. Even when transfemininity is used to encompass trans womanhood, many of them wouldn’t feel represented with the association of feminine-of-center (or another word for fingender/feminine gendered feelings). For example, a woman can have a masculine gender (identity).
