One major bonus to all this Charlie Kirk stuff is that the left is finally starting to learn that alt-right TIMs are a very common phenomenon

”Transmaxxing is when a cis male incel transitions to be more successful!!” They’re not cis, that’s called being trans, dear. Half the trans woman you know began as incels raised on 4chan and the only vocabulary they had to express themselves was the self-hating words that platform gave them. People aren’t “transmaxxing” to achieve a higher status in the world, they’re transitioning to fulfill a kind of self actualization they’ve been craving their entire lives. Maybe they don’t even know that. But they will.
You don’t know what my life is like. I was in middle school in 2013 listening to this on wired headphones.
Usually I find that trans headcanons tend to be very predictable, but they vary in type depending on the sex of person doing it. However, re: Jaxx, I've noticed that the common ground between 'AFABs' and 'AMABs' is headcanoning male characters who display cruel behavior and/or act inappropriately towards women as being trans women, and then acting as if transition cleanses them of all their sins.
When I was a TRA, I was appalled by this. It seemed offensive to stereotype trans women as antisocial jerks and greasy incels. I spoke out against this, and struggled to understand why trans women seemed to adore these headcanons. At the time, I convinced myself that they were desperate for representation.
In retrospect, it makes a horrifying amount of sense. They just related to those headcanons, and often had zero interest in any sympathetic, non-sexualized trans women depicted in media.
that's really interesting, i never personally encountered that in trans fandom spaces but i trust that you did! yeah, the idea that a) transition is inherent rehabilitation, b) dysphoria is a redeeming enough reason for any sort of violence/violation (thinking about that voyeur comic again....); seems very prevalent in trans discourse and in transfem's personal stories.
have you gyns ever watched this one?
it's a fascinating case to me... one of those, heart-achingly earnest accounts of a transfem experience that is also... very hard to stomach through a genuine feminist lense. it presents all these fragments that aim to point to a confusing and painful experience of one's own body and sense of self (and reluctant AGP!) to implicitly paint this picture of Male Angst & suggesting transition as a break from it, a way to finally be able to build a happier life for oneself. through both an autobiographical and a fictional lense.
and it was effective, it worked on me at the time! but the (admittedly very entertaining) opening segment is SO focused on the transmaxxer and the supposed relief and happiness he was able to find, and does not at all address what that means for the women around him.
it's this... borderline propaganda strategy where the transfems gather their audience with this... Grim Task of addressing some kind of Complicated Compelling Uncomfortable Truth of their experience. but present it as, even if Difficult To Stomach, entirely redeemable due to the pain of dysphoria and the purported relief of transition. it's, once again: center males' pain and rich and complex and tortured inner lives, at women's expense. don't even ASK about the cost to women. it is irrelevant.
so yeah the Jax headcanon being at least partially rooted in implied "jealous" animosity towards female characters slides right in. THE FEMALE CHARACTERS' EXPERIENCE OF HARASSMENT IS UNIMPORTANT. Jax's Complex Sad Reasons are everything, though
I hate that I can see how they arrived at this. It's kind of the natural conclusion of MRA & incel ideology. Doesn't make it any less unhinged though.
I can’t stop thinking about how the party of “keeping women safe from men dressed as women” is also the party transmaxxers support.
Mtf transmaxxers are literally the boogieman the right is so worried about, but the call is coming from inside the fucking house.
Blackpinkpill Pride Flag
Blackpinkpill or pinkblackpill: a metaphorical slang neologism for someone who takes both black and pink pills; a pill that combines both pink and black colors; someone who considers oneself as both blackpilled/blackpiller and pinkpiller/pinkpilled. It can be used in a reclaimed sense, or in any other way for any reason.
Context: pinkpill is often used as the femcel counterpart of bluepill but it's also used by those who "queermaxxed". Blackpill is the nihilistic interpretation of blue and red pills.
