In the five year anniversary video, when they're all talking about being family, Virgil claims to be the gay emo cousin, Remus claims to be the fresh out of jail uncle, and Janus claims to be the sassy aunt. Which implies that in the family dynamic, Virgil is Janus and Remus's child. And with it being the holiday season I can't help but think about that family gathering if they were all real people. Like you got the regular suburban family (Patton, Logan, and Roman) and then you have that one family that everyone has at their family gathering who are all just a bit... interesting. And messy. (This is totally my family at the gatherings tbh, tho for us its gay emo cousin, gossipy punk trans cousin (me), punk uncle, criminal aunt)
Anyway, I just love imagining the dark sides showing up to a family gathering. Remus would be carrying a (definitely inedible) fruit cake that he made himself, Janus would have like two of those box cartons of wine, and Virgil would have big headphones on and immediately find some out of the way corner to hide in. (Me and my sibling would literally set up camp behind a couch at my suburban aunt's house)
And who's related to who in this scenario? I like the concept of it being Janus and Logan. They've both got tired wine mom energy.
Sorry if this doesn't fit with any of the new information from the new episode, I haven't watched it yet cause I'm rewatching the entire series leading up to it before I watch the new one. Hence why I'm thinking about the five years later video.
