It's not THAT kind of paint stripper. But I know my fellow girlies out there would desperately want it to be that kind…

I love Space Dread. comic by @tredlocity
Here she is!! The new and improved Space Dread
She came out way better than I expected! I’m so glad I decided to try the pattern from Que Se Teje again. It’s just an overall good base pattern to build off of. When I get the chance I’m going to make a bigger cape and another hat so I can find a way to make the brim a little stiffer. Getting her Iconic hat down would make this doll perfect :)

[Sponsored by @crazytrain48. He's helped encourage my enthusiasm for monsters from non D&D RPGs for a long time, being the prime motivator for all of the Arduin monsters I've made over the years. And the karma drake comes from an even stranger RPG: World of Synnibar. I was familiar with World of Synnibar from my days on RPG.net, mostly as a punchline. But it wasn't until I saw the stat block for the karma drake that I realized exactly what World of Synnibar's enthusiastic over-the-top incoherence actually looked like:
The incredibly inflated numbers aside, take a look at some of those mechanics. 55% fates "for most categories"? 5 attacks plus one per 5 levels, but no listed level for the monster? "Also, they have all of the randomly determined mutations"? And I want to draw attention to the beautiful fantasy gibberish that is "venderant nalaberong". I'm now deeply tempted to find a copy of this book and just bask in it.

Karma Drake CR 18 LG Dragon This elephant-sized dragon is multicolored, with orange and blue scales, golden fur along its neck and arms, and bright red claws and spikes running down its back. Its forelimbs are longer than its hindlimbs, giving it a gorilla-like gait.
Most drakes are of low intelligence and lower morals, being motivated primarily by a desire to bully, destroy and devour. That said, exceptions exist—drakes who discover a better way and move onto the path towards enlightenment. These enlightened drakes are often preyed upon by their kin. In the rare case where a drake’s soul reincarnates through multiple lifetimes and does not stray from the path towards perfection, it will eventually reincarnate as a karma drake with a keen mind and powerful body. This incarnation is both a reward for multiple lifetimes of good deeds and a protection from the wicked dragons of the world. The original wings of the two-legged drake form are remolded into large arms with prehensile hands, and when a karma drake wishes to fly, luminous wings of force sprout from its back to carry it aloft.
A karma drake’s versatile powers make them a strong ally or a terrifying enemy in combat. Karma drakes can and do use their draconic natural weapons in combat, but prefer to stay literally above the fray and make hit and run attacks. Instead of a traditional breath weapon, a karma drake can fire a ruby red bolt of concussive force from its eyes an incredible distance, which they use to make pinpoint strikes against evil foes. Their magical abilities allow them to control earth and stone, and karma drakes prefer to petrify hostile non-evil creatures rather than kill them—effectively putting them on a time out and then restoring them with a warning. Karma drakes do not throw their lives away foolishly, but are willing to fight to the death in the service of the greater good.
Karma drakes are firm advocates for goodness and despise evil. They spend most of their lives in meditation and observation, but will occasionally go out to both reward the good and punish the evil. Karma drakes see themselves as arbiters of divine justice. They grant wishes to good-aligned creatures, particularly if those wishes will enforce the norms of goodness and encourage others to improve themselves as well. Evil actions are sabotaged, and powerful evil creatures slain. Although they will converse with sapient neutral creatures, a karma drake’s assistance to them is limited to admonitions to do better and take steps towards moral salvation. Creatures incapable of making moral decisions, however, are not scorned by karma drakes. Quite the opposite: karma drakes are fond of natural beauty, and typically live in coral reefs so they can surround themselves with it. Nudibranches are a favorite, and a karma drake can spend days watching the activity of colorful slugs on their reef.
