It’s called Šakotis (or Tree Cake) and it’s the best thing ever invented. My love for it is unending. Even a bad šakotis is a good šakotis to me. If I’m full I still gave room for šakotis. What does it taste like? Nothing. Like Šakotis. Eggs, sugar and flour what’s not to love?

Also it’s made by rotating it over fire like the blorbo in your brain

✧*:･ﾟSmall Acorn Tree Trunk Cakes･ﾟ:*✧

I made an easy chocolate cake with a simple chocolate frosting the only sort of cake and frosting i could manage at the time xD and pistachio powder.

This was my first try at baking! I made small test cakes to see if I could manage a big cake :)

I had almost no baking related utensils to work with at the time so I made a flat chocolate-ish cake on a baking tray. I stacked the cake parts with frosting and covered it with more frosting.

Then I crushed the pistachios until I had a pistachio powder I could use to decorate and disguise all the mistakes i made ;)

I was trying to find out how to make something that sort of looked like wood. I used a few differend methodes like chocolate pieces or shaping the frosting with a fork. For the big cake I wanted to make, I discovered fondant and used that :)

The acorns are just cake mixed with frosting dipped in chocolate. After they dried i dipped one half again and dipped them in small chocolate flakes. I put a chocolate piece on it to act as a stem and done!

I think they turned out very nice for a first try :)
