I'm late posting these because I never know what to do about leaks (apologies if they're already all over the place on Tumblr), but the cover for Vol. 39 and color page from the chapter have leaked! I'll put them under a Read More due to them being leaks.

I'm also seeing summaries of the chapter itself, but I'm doing my best to avoid that.

Intense, especially that color page! I'm all but certain now that the head belongs to Pairo. I was already pretty sure it had to be, but this just confirms it... I think we're in for a wild ride ahead!

I wonder if the reason why Pairo's head was taken rather than just his eyes had to do with them being damaged? I know his wasn't the only head that was sold on the market, but still... maybe it was because some eyes simply couldn't be extracted without damaging them entirely? Or maybe Pairo's impairment made the eyes more valuable/rare to collectors?

God this is such a morbid topic of discussion. This manga is dark af (and I love it for that)

I hope more light is shared on the massacre soon enough. While I don't doubt that the Troupe are responsible (for reasons I've laid out in earlier posts here and here ) I do really need the exact motivation (or the famed "B side"). Need to know if others were involved too. Need to know what was up with the Meteor City note left behind, which suggests revenge as the motive yet goes against how little the PT care about the event (Uvogin straight up had to be reminded of the Kurtas before it clicked. He would not have forgotten them if the motive to slaughter them had been personal).
