can I request a drawing of Team Dosu if they had lived throughout OG Naruto and Shippuden all the way to Boruto?
This took forever to get to, I'm so sorry anon- BUT-
The story I came up with for their survival, is that Kin and Zaku decide to bail on Orochimaru after the preliminary exams, running away from the infirmary and eventually getting caught by Konoha nin. After its discovered that the hidden sound are planning something on Konoha, they get detained for questioning. For Dosu, he gets stopped by Baki before he can have his interaction with Gaara, being led back to where he was staying. When the attack on the village breaks out, he gets captured and brought to the same cell as Kin and Zaku. After everything settles, the three do their time for betraying Konoha, giving up information on Orochimaru for their freedom. The three get closer during their time together, and decide to abandon being Shinobi for big villages, or at all, and move to a far away village to make new lives.
Zaku adjusts to a life without an arm, Dosu becomes a little more comfortable with showing his face, and Kin takes a sort of leader role to keep the boys in check. To make a living in their new home, they open up a store together, where Zaku and Kin deal with customers, and Dosu works with produce in the back to avoid talking to people. They still practice their talents just in case, but avoid most conflict among shinobi. They don't want to be betrayed or used, so they keep each other close and only each other.
Years later, after the war, the three decide to take a trip or two around the world, not wanting to live their entire lives in their homely little store. In a new generation of peace, they don't have to worry as much, but Konoha is one of the last places they choose to go
