29/05/16 - CD 4 - Cycle 4

Okay, so that last cycle ended up being 36 days, and finally ended pretty painfully. My new cycle very abruptly announced itself with crippling cramps (like, crunched down to the ground clutching my stomach calling out for Nate to help me into bed kind of pain. It was rediculous.) I had some of Nate's ibuprofen 400's he has for his chest cartilage thing (costochondritis??) And some Panadol, and had a nap to let it work. I was fine after that, like literally no more pain, so I don't know what was up with the random pain ?? Oh wells. New cycle. Onward and upward ! ♡

17/4/16 - CD 29 - Cycle 3

Okay So firstly sorry for totally abandoning this blog for like a month, and thanks for sticking with me anyway ♡

~Now For An Update~ My period obviously came last cycle (seeing as I’m cycle 3 now :) ) It was a 25 day cycle, and a four day period. So that first cycle after having my jmplanon removed was 28 days, then the second was 25, so being day 29 today … I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much..

24/2/16 - Cycle 2 - CD1

So AF came and thats fine.. whatever :) We knew it probably wouldnt happen the first month.

We didnt know my cycle at all and we weren’t really really trying, we dont want to get to crazy about it straight away.

We went to see our doctor yesterday and told him that I never got a positive OPK for my whole cycle, so on CD21 I have to go get a blood test thats gonna check my progesterone levels to see if I’m ovulating.

Also (not TTC related, just for my own record) this is the day Brent diagnosed me with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, and put me on 60mg of Andepra, which is Duloxetine.

2/2/16 - Cycle 1 - CD7

Okay, so its been forever since I updated this blog .. but its been an uneventful 50-something days .. My AF didn't come for aaaages after having my implanon out, it came on the 27th of January .. 50 days after implant removal day .. So anyway, It's now CD7, I'm still taking my preconception vitamins, my Ovia app says I *should* ovulate around CD15 Aaand we'll see what happens :)

I nearly blew our cover on the TTC front last night.

My friend asked to borrow my phone to show us something on youtube, and I forgot that my recent searches include “stuffing cloth diapers” and “breastfeeding must haves” so when they turned to me like ..um, what are these.. I had to quickly explain that some of the daily vloggers I watch have had babies and their videos have weird names ! FAIL

But it was fine and they dropped it, so I think we’re good 👍

I got a call yesterday from my doctors office saying that they got the results of our blood & urine tests back and we have to wait to hear about them at our appt on the 8th :)

They did however tell me that I am not immune to Rubella and have to have my MMR vaccine again on the 8th, which is fine (even though I’m a huge baby about needles).

So we went to see my doctor on Tuesday to tell him we were ttc and needed my nexplanon out.

He was actually super supportive and patient with us while we asked like 50 questions about everything.

He said to start the preconception vitamins I bought on the weekend straight away so that they would be fully in my system by the time my implant is out, get the blood and urine tests he wrote up a script for, and come back in “about a month” for the nexplanon removal.

We booked the removal for the 8th of December while we were there, 28 days after that appt :)
