Winston personally doesn't identify as a monster engine, but rather as a very large housepet. He thinks he is a massive dog, and almost blends in if you ignore his colour.

He is also very, very small when compared to the other working monster engines.

“Lucky charm or no lucky charm, Bill and Ben need my help!”

Hermes changed tracks, and was coupled onto Bill. Without another moment’s hesitation, he started to pull. Bill was surprised, but couldn’t spare the stamina to comment, instead focusing on helping to rescue his twin.

The two saddle tanks pulled together as the trucks cheered them on - they were afraid of tumbling down the embankment themselves.

The Fat Controller came screeching in on board Winston, pulling up just in time to see little Hermes drag Ben back onto the rails, and to safety.

“Thank you, Hermes!” Ben gasped.

“Yes, thanks, Hermes.” Panted Bill.

“It’s a good thing I was passing by.” The small green engine smiled.

“Yeah, lucky us.” Bill said, with a weary smile.

Hermes perked up, suddenly remembering.

“Luck… uh, I’ve got to go!” And he hurried off without another word, leaving Bill and Ben to explain themselves to Sir Topham Hatt.

Best I could come up with for St. Patrick's Day :p Also new thing I'm trying out - Percy, but his name is Hermes. I tossed the idea around in a couple friend groups, and have decided to go public with the concept. Hermes has also gained a couple cosmetic changes since the last time you saw him, some of which will stay depending on which direction I take the character.

Guys I kinda love Winston. He's just this tiny little car with a butler like demeanour, and he has been able to tolerate his owner's bad driving for the most part so well. It's adorable.
