It’s time to talk The Vampire Diaries. I am VERY EXCITED to be hosting a TVD podcast with my good friend Maddie aka @lipstickandwifi. We’re rewatching the entire series and offering our musings, feels and hopefully a lot of humor. I promise it will be balanced as I am a Stelena shipper and Maddie is a Delena shipper. We are proof the two fandoms can build a bridge. Those that listen to Watchover know I bring up The Vampire Diaries all the time, so hopefully this will be therapeutic for me and maybe even YOU. Okay so I️ just started rewatching the first episode of The Vampires Diaries (again) and I️ realized one of the reasons that I️ ship Klaroline (I know it’s far away from when Klaus is even introduced, but hear me out). Caroline talked about how she tries so hard and is never the one. She talked about feeling in competition with Elena who doesn’t even have to try. Klaus just completely fell for Caroline. She didn’t have to try. She didn’t have to do anything but simply be herself and that was enough for him.
OK but does anyone else wish that at the end of the pilot we had seen what all Stefan and Elena "talked all night" about, because I've no doubt that we probably missed out on some epic conversation, but maybe that's just me
