Everytime someone makes any kind of generalising joke about gender, any joke claiming they hate men or that all men should die or that even all men are abusers, I automatically knock them off as someone who is a danger to me. Because they are. Anyone willing to generalise an entire group of people is a dangerous individual. Especially when that individual says such things to a person they know are a part of that group (meaning they either want me to be hurt or they simply don't see me as a man. Both are terrible and dangerous).

I'm tired of treating this stuff like it's harmless, it's not. It excuses bigotry, abuse, murder and a bunch of other shit and it also tells me that this person would sooner side with my abuser than with me simply due to our genders.

A bit of a vent + suicidism (Tw for suicide, suicidism, misandry [?])

I attempted 3 times and failed. I cant help but feel pathetic for it, I told people I would, and I hate not going through with plans or promises.

Thereʻs this idea that if you donʻt actually go through with suicide (even if you attempt but fail) that youʻre manipulative and a horrible person for it. I think misandry(?) also plays into it, as Iʻm seen as cowardly or not "man enough" if I fail to go through with it.

This is suicidism and misandry. More than 250 times the amount of people think of suicide than die by it and approximately 30 times the amount of people attempt than die by it (source). This doesn't mean that any one of those people is more valid, but just that death by suicide isn't as common as attempts/ideation. You're (anon) not pathetic, cowardly, or manipulative and I'm sorry if you were made to feel like you were.

I know you guys are sick to death of hearing about this (believe me so am I), I just needed you guys to see this message one of them sent me. Because every bit of it is incredible.

None of your apologies will ever matter unless you change your behaviour. "Misandry" does not exist and it would take centuries to force it into existence meaning that hating men is not an issue and won't be one in our lifetime. Insisting that it is and calling trans women who are sick of the power men hold over them terfs is disgusting misogynistic behaviour. You sound like a middle school MRA in your insistence that "misandry" exists. Knowing how those MRAs developed politically, I would say I'm surprised you haven't gone further down the same fascism pipeline, but considering that you're an american you do have quite a head start. I guess the one saving grace of this whole thing is that I will likely never have the misfortune of being within 1000 miles of you (using yank units so no precious american needs to do a simple conversion).

Apart from the ascertaining that misandry doesn’t exist (which is very funny), that’s not even my favourite part of the post. My favourite part isn’t even the outright unprovoked attack towards “Precious Americans™️” as if you HAVE to live in the states to have trouble with conversions (hi to all my dyscalcic bitches), my FAVOURITE part is the admission that any apology I offer will not be acceptable to these freaks. I kind of already knew that after so damn long on tumblr, and so did all of you, but the confirmation that I can’t do anything to stop these freaks, so I just kind of have to let them run off steam.

we won't be following back people who say they dislike men or have men dni in their intros/bios

we literally have tmasc alters and even if it's not trans men you want gone, it makes us feel like you don't see us as men. and these types of people are mostly in jirai, bpd and ed spaces, where there are many tmascs too. it's fine if you don't want creepy men interacting, but it's not all men.
