What's your opinion on the Clem/Mitch ship? I fell in love with it after I accidentally clicked on the tag awhile ago lol
I actually didn’t understand it as a ship until I started seeing fandom content for it lol.
I mean, I can see why the scenes between them in episode 2 spawned fans of them as a pairing, but it wasn’t until I actually started seeing fanart pop up as well as some writing pieces of it that I was like “huh...interesting”.
I don’t love it like a lot of people do, but yeah I like it and can see why it appeals to people.
I do think most of my interest in it comes more so from what the fandom have done for the ship than anything in the game. I feel like fans of the pairing have made 90% of the interesting content and chemistry between them due to the fact that they’ve managed to fill in the gaps for Mitch’s character that the game never had a chance to explore due to his death.
So you’ve got this interesting scenario that because of the fandom - we now have a more fleshed out Mitch and a more interesting dynamic and chemistry with Clem that actually works (you could argue that episode 2 had groundwork for it, but I feel like the fanon portrayal did most of the work imo).
