hi, anon. :] i def have some thoughts, so here there are in my style of writing hehe. tldr; i don't think jason has a type but he definitely needs someone who is strong emotionally and mentally. here are some bits:

jason loves with the ache of someone who's lived through too many deaths—his own, his family's, his enemies'. you meet him in that space between violence and tenderness, where his hands no longer know how to cradle softly, but you teach him without words. in the quiet moments, you are the only thing he doesn't need to fight.

your strength isn't loud like his, but it holds a gravity that he gravitates toward, steady as the earth beneath his feet. he watches the way you navigate a world that doesn't always deserve you, how you bend without breaking, and in that, he finds something worth holding on to. you remind him that not all strength comes from force.

there are nights when jason can't outrun the ghosts in his head, when sleep is more of a war than a refuge. but you, with your patient hands and silent understanding, offer him a peace he thought was long lost. you never ask for his scars to be explained—only to be seen.

he's drawn to the way you see through him, not the red hood, not the blood and guilt, but the boy who wanted to be more than another casualty of gotham. you never try to change him, only to remind him that beneath the mask, he's still allowed to be human.

jason doesn't trust easily, but with you, it's different. you don't flinch at his darkness or the way his life edges too close to death. instead, you stand beside him, unafraid of the bullets or the shadows he drags behind him. in your presence, he realizes that not everything in his world has to be violent or fleeting. some things, like you, can stay.

If Chloe were a villain in this au, how would you write it?

OUUU INTERESTING-

If Chloe was a villain, I’d kind of make her an obstacle solely in Marinette’s life. Like, I’ll have Marinette do something that would make Chloe hate her throughout the story (turn Adrien against her, even unintentionally embarrass/humiliate her in front of her mother or other elites, indirectly force her to face the consequences of her behavior) just to give Chloe a reason to blame Marinette for Chloe facing the consequences of her own actions.

She would also probably have more of a role in trying to ruin her and Adrien’s relationship and Marinette’s relationships with her friends. Ofc in the process, she’d lose Adrien, but I imagine she’d just have a fit/tantrum (A Regina George type meltdown) about it and hate Marinette even more, blaming her for the break in their relationship.

She would be portrayed more as a “Evil Stepsister” than a “Evil Snow White” if that makes sense!

I’ll also highlight how if you put Audrey and Chloe next to each other, it’s practically the same person. In the AU, Chloe wants to be someone her mother can be proud of, like Zoe is to Audrey, in turn getting that motherly love. This Chloe wants to BE her mother.

She thinks if she can achieve that, then Audrey will finally love her. Because who does Audrey love more than herself, right?

This will probably be my only “why she does what she does” part of the AU. Ladybug could TRY explaining how she doesn’t have to act this way, but the behavior and ideology is so engrained to her it’s like virtually impossible for her to realize it. Maybe Audrey will finally “compliment” her after she got what she wanted through underhanded and terrible actions which affected Marinette, and this leads Chloe down a rabbit hole of even more targeted actions towards Marinette. She thinks she’s so close to winning that affection she’s never got, and there’s no way she’s going to back down now. To Chloe, she doesn’t care what people think or what she does to them, as long as she gets what she wants and her mother gives her attention.

She would also only favor people who are willing to be stepped on by her. Sabrina would totally be more like canon Sabrina, despite her talent and status as a ballerina. It would be less like being treated as a dog but more like a girl who’s stuck in a toxic friendship but is too afraid to break out of it. For instance, Chloe would think she’s being a “good friend” by making comments about her weight and looks, but it just makes Sabrina feel even worse in comparison to Chloe.

I think Lute's immediate reaction depends a bit on the specifics...if she and Reader are out in public and someone makes an audible comment, i.e. you hear it and get upset, Lute will not hesitate to whip around and confront the offender then and there. We've seen she has no issue being rougher with other angels when she's angry, and ESPECIALLY when it's someone who has the gall to insult her dear Reader? By some miracle you may be able to calm her down enough for her not to make a scene...assuming of course you don't want her to make a scene 🤭

If it's her overhearing someone talking ill of you and your body and you're not around, it'll go much the same way, but without you being around to be her conscience and restraint all hell breaks loose (pun intended) and she lacks the patience to bide her time for anything drawn out or delayed. And of course, all of this is physical revenge - she was created to kill and fight, she knows how to throw hands.

At least it serves as a lesson that nobody in any realm gets to badmouth Lute's darling...
