Here’s the Skrull villain in the upcoming “Captain Marvel” - Talos. He’s played by type-cast actor Ben Mendelsohn. I say type-cast, not because he always plays shape-shifting aliens, but because he’s appeared as a villain in way to recent movies (including Ready Player One, Rogue One, Robin Hood, Exodus Gods and Kings...)

Wikipedia mentions that in the comic Talos is unable to shape-shift. Clearly he shape shifts in the movie (there’s lots of press material about how long it takes to put on the makeup and how his human character is so different). So maybe he’ll lose his powers as a plot point in the movie. I wonder if he will be stuck in the form of a cow!

I’ve always been casted as mom and teacher characters but now I’m playing Luke in lightning thief for my senior year does anybody have any tips on acting that I could use I would greatly appreciate it I have no idea what I’m doing😭

Getting type cast in movies is one thing but getting type cast in real life is a bummer when you're the guy that teaches them the lesson that leads them to the right person.

Some of my friends are type cast as “the mouthy one”, “the love interest” or the “damsel”.

Me? I’m type cast as “drunken man who dies/almost dies” and I fuck with it.
