YUSH, we’ve reached Ula’Ula Arc! One of my favs! ♥ really excited to rewatch that arc tomorrow, Acerola is such an enjoyabe character and freaking love what they did with Rocket Gang and Kuchinashi here. Shame we didn’t get deeper info on Kuchinashi and Sakaki connection :p

Acerola
She’s one of my favourite characters from the games, and I’m thoroughly happy with how she was handled in Pokeani. Fun, caring, mysterious, not scared of a single ghost. I’m really happy to have seen more of her after her Ula’ula Arc debut, and be an excellent match-up for Kaki in the League. Already miss her and her shenanigans with Kuchinashi/Nanu.
Bonus:
People on the internet: I’m not sure there’s even going to be a League in Alola in Pokeani, I mean nothing indicates that.

I forgot how good of a battle Ula'Ula's Grand Trial is.... gosh. So god damn good.

Also, I realised that ever since Akala's Grand Trial, Satoshi always hits the ground when commanding Rock Throw. I need to pay attention to what he does after Lugarugan replaces the move with Stone Edge... could fit real well with it, I just haven't paid attention.
So, after the Grand Trial’s Second round’s victory, Kapu Bulul comes to give Lugarugan an Obon Berry to restore its health.

One word: Unfair. :D
“Fair” as in distracting Satoshi with savage mental game and then commanding a successful attack. Holy Flygons, Pokeani nailed the characterisation of a Dark-Type User! Kuchinashi’s constantly getting under Satoshi’s skin, causing him to get unfocused, telling the meanest things ever, and he doesn’t care in the slightest if its fair or not!
Can we... can we have more Dark-Type users with interesting characterisation in the future?
