Silly theory that Jason Todd is a Disney Princess!
He was poor af, had lost his parents, met a crazy dude wearing a mask and was then taken in by said crazy but rich dude. He got a major Cinderella theme going on here.
He then lives in a big mansion with a sassy butler and said rich dude who dresses like a monster at night. He’s completely taken by the households library... ahem... yeah... that’s Belle.
Then there was his death by a jealous madman (Aurora being put to sleep by Maleficent) and this strange reality-punch-resurrection. Snow White anyone? Woken from a punch instead of a kiss...
He returns but he’s not really himself anymore, gains certain “powers” but definitely loses a part of himself. Kiiiiiinda like Ariel when she was muted...
He sets out on a quest to to redeem himself (kinda) but in the process upsets his family. Mulan...
And if it wasn’t for the past few issues of RHATO/RHO I’d even say he’s finally gotten over all of that shit and has decided to be a strong, independent young woman who don’t give no fuck no more... Pocahontas. But that’s off the table now that we’re back at crime bossing around. BUT he seems to have noticed that pattern and now tries to become a prince at least...
