You had so many fun options and I went through a lot of concepts, but in the end I made a short animation of Unmei deciding to surprise Haru for Christmas! He somehow snuck in the Endou household...

Mei sometimes wondered why she had been saved that day in the Twelveswood. She knew the literal reason now, of course. She’d known for a while now it was not the product of altruism or some chivalrous good deed. She’d known that she wasn’t really saved at all, so much as she was simply watched and left to die, just a body for an experiment. What she wondered was why? What purpose could it possibly fulfill in the grander scheme of things? What reason could it serve for her to die and live again? Why her, and not so many others who were surely more deserving of life? The fate of everything that lived was to die, so why hadn’t she? There were no answers; at least, not that she could find. All she knew was that she had been given a second chance, and she had to make the most of it. She had to find a reason for it. Most were not so fortunate to have another chance at life, and so she would have to live for all those others. Help everyone else. Sacrifice all she could short of dying and wasting this opportunity. Give all of herself away.
