( bandage ) : receiver carefully binds up an injury on sender / hunter verse + reverse
"Shit." The Lieutenant cursed under his breath when he shifted his arms for Kelly to start tending to the wound on his side. Any kind of movement, big or small, made the pain worse. It was damn near excruciating, but that's what happened when you fought against a violent creature with claws so sharp it could penetrate human skin with terrifying ease. Ruined his damn dress jacket and shirt, too. Torn apart and stained with blood. His blood.
"I'm fine..." another wince. "Keep going." He assured her, not that there was much choice. It needed to be cleaned, stitched and bandaged. It was going to keep hurting like hell, he knew, but he'd just have to deal with it. Clearing his throat, Horatio decided to make conversation. An attempt to both brace himself and keep his emotions in check. He wasn't one to show them easily, and not at all often, but right now, it was a little difficult not to. "You, uh, you ever wondered why I never had a cat?" He smirked. "This is part of it." He chuckled, which made him wince and grunt. He sighs.
"How's, uh, how's it lookin', doc?" He teases, warm blue eyes locked on her. Maybe he didn't need any painkillers. Looking at her was enough to help take his mind off of the pain.
