I have finally had a break in my insanely busy semester to *breathe*. It’s reading week. This semester has been *very* up and down, I’ve had some incredible ups as well as some all time lows. But today, in this moment, in this second, today is good. I’ve been taking more credits than I’m supposed to, I also have a part time job, and I’ve also been unwell so juggling things has been a bit out of whack.
I’m on a little holiday from Monday to Thursday, I’ll be doing some studying but taking some time to hit refresh and get some good fresh Scottish highland air. I am quite behind on work at the minute but it’s ok because I now have time to refocus.
It’s time for a break and time to be kind to yourself <3

Today, after 4 years, I submitted my PhD thesis in History to the University of Edinburgh. To celebrate I splashed out on a mini redcoat I’ve been wanting to buy for ages.

small update
i’ve been pretty absent on here bc i was busy w ucas etc. i applied to my 5 unis and got an offer from 4 and a rejection from 1 (this was all documents on my ig). The rejection was from camb which hurt but i was winterpooled so i mustn’t’ve been that terrible. I recieved offers from KCL, UCL, Leeds & Edinburgh, all for a 4 year MSci/MMath course. I’ve firmed UCL and their offer of A*A*B/A*AA (subj to cond) and insured Edinburgh as they offered me AAB.
