They come to Sky's era, and overtime, Sky had built up the courage to finally propose to Sun!

He even collaborated with Four and Legend to make the ring themselves out of dusk relics. It turned out beautifully. He was so excited to do it, after all, it only made sense. They'd already waited so long to start dating, they knew each other inside and out already. Popping the question and taking the next step seemed like the right move to make.

So, he took her out on a date, on what he thought would be their last date unmarried.

They ate at the Lumpy Pumpkin, and then went flying through the clouds. He told her he had something he had been meaning to tell her. They landed on Skyloft.

He got down on one knee, and she started crying. But they weren't happy tears.

Before he could even ask, she said no.

Why? It made no sense, none at all. He stood up, confused.

Truth is, Sun couldn't stand seeing all his devotion, all his resentment. Everytime she looks into his eyes and sees all the pain he'd gone through for her sake, it feels like a knife stabbing her. She can see whenever he's on the verge of snapping, she can tell that underneath his kind smiles and soft looks, there's a deep anger he's buried, that's boiling and bubbling up.

She can't take it.

Neither can he, they've both just refused to acknowledge it. Because they're too afraid to.

They need to separate before they can come any closer.

Even though I think it’s unlikely, a large part of me really hopes that Spencer and Alexandra reunite on the road and not once they get to the ranch. Because like… you know it’s on sight. And that would just be so awkward in front of the fam? Like… on sight, but in front of Harrison Ford? I don’t want that kind of cringy PDA.

I’d kill to have them accidentally meet on the same train and have them share a train car for a day or two to get the old vibe back before they’re in Montana and stressing out about family and child birth and gunfights and yada. I want these two idiots to have a little more honeymoon you know? Or is it babymoon now?

Like can’t you see it: they’re on the same passenger train, unbeknownst to each other. Spencer is at the bar. Alex goes to the food car (with the bar) bc she’s having a craving. She sees him and stops dead. Something pulls his attention her direction a few second later and he looks like he’s seeing a ghost when his eyes meet her. The moment lingers, heavy, shock. Then urgency. She starts running toward him and trying (failing) not to sob and he’s up and pushing/throwing chairs out of the way without his eyes ever leaving hers and then they kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiss. And it’s reminiscent of their first kiss in the way they absolutely devour each other and she clings to him and his hands are in her hair, holding her face to him. And they can’t get close enough to each other. But everyone else is like wtf? And then they come up for air, Alex realizes they’re being indecent, Spencer can’t give two fucks and tries to kiss her even deeper but she’s like your place or mine, and he’s like good idea and then they go to a cabin and don’t come out for like 3 days.

Idk I just want my otp to be able to uninterruptedly fuuuuuuucccc
