Lena staring at Webby!
My Pretty lesbians!
I'm still wondering if Lena can age now. She looked the same for 15 years. But now that she is free from Magica, maybe she's a real girl now?
Webby: Wait, are you flirting with me?
Lena: Have been for the past year, but thanks for noticing.
Lesbian Webby and Lena moodboard for anonymous!
I hope you guys enjoy it! I tried to stick to the flag colors as much as possible!
I would’ve done this one sooner, but I just started college!
Requests are still open, I promise that I’m getting to them!

The Death of Lena De Spell
“This is a mistake, I know it.” Lena said, more to herself than to Huey, who was hard at work on the girl’s hair. The older duckling sat before a mirror, her gaze going a thousand miles beyond it.
“It’s not, you’re being dramatic. And hold still please.” Huey replied, his glance shifting rapidly between the Lena’s hair and the mirror. He was unsure how he was the one roped into keeping the girl’s appearance perfect, but he couldn’t really argue when his brothers stated he would do a better job than they would.
“I’m not being dramatic, it’s just . . .” the sentence trailed off as her gaze shifted to Huey’s reflection. “Look, I’m gonna tell you something personal, and if you ever tell anyone a word I say I will end you, understand?”
“I can believe that,” Huey chuckled, mainly to hide the nervousness. “I have two brothers and an adopted sister, I know how to keep a secret.” He put his hands on both sides of her head and gave it a gentle nudge, centering her face back at the mirror. Lena kept her annoyance at bay and took a deep breath.
“Good things don’t happen to me, and that’s fine. Boo hoo, my “aunt” didn’t love me and only created me for revenge, whatever.” She tried to hide the sting in her voice and play it as a too-cool-to-care comment, but Huey had heard her awaken in the middle of the night from a Magica nightmare enough times over the years to know that she wasn’t as indifferent to her aunt as she pretended. Still, he wasn’t about to interrupt her to argue the point. “I lived, and I kept moving forward. And I was ok with not being happy because I didn’t get attached to anything to care. But then I met Webby and things changed.”
“So today is a mistake because Webby makes you happy?” Huey had stopped messing with Lena’s hair, satisfied with how it looked. Had Lena not been distracted, she’d probably complain about it looking too neat.
“No. Yes? Maybe? I don’t know, I’m scared it’s too good to last. What if I just end up dragging her down, like a sinking ship? Or what if I can’t make her as happy as she makes me?”
“Webby’s been crazy about you for years now, I don’t think that’s gonna change anytime soon. Maybe you should stop thinking you’re a burden to her, cause you make her just as happy as she makes you.” Huey explained, primping her hair with his final touches. It took a good amount of work organizing the white and pink feathers, but darn did he not feel proud of his work as he looked at it from several angles.
“You really think I make her that happy?” Lena asked, absentmindedly squeezing her hand into a fist. Her knuckles would have turned white if not for the feathers already providing the color.
“Would either of you be here today if you didn’t? Plus Louie texted me how crazy excited she was in the car on the ride over.” The duck chuckled, easily imagining his brothers trying to keep Webby under control on the drive over. “Look, Lena, you aren’t a sinking ship. If you don’t know you’re one of the best things that ever happened to her, you’re kind of an idiot.”
Lena fought a smile, the urge to tell the duck fussing with her hair how grateful she was for his words and how much they helped calm her in this moment of need. “I’m gonna let that slide today, dork.” She said, eliciting a laugh from him. Ah what the heck, she’d already dropped the cool attitude around Huey the second she vocalized her fears, she could do it a little longer. “But seriously, thanks. I know all this isn’t a mistake, nothing with Webby ever could be, but you helped keep me calm.”
“No problem.” Huey breathed a sigh of relief as he finally finished with her hair, taking a step back to admire it. He grabbed his cell from his pocket with the intent of taking a picture to capture his hard work for future reminders, but the time displayed on his screen caught his attention and robbed his mind of the idea. “Alright, it’s about time, you ready to become Lena Vanderquack?” he asked, taking the time to adjust his red tie in the mirror.
“Almost,” she glanced at him in the mirror before taking her hand and running it through her hair, giving it the messy look Webby had always vocalized her adoration at. “Kay, let’s go get me married nerd.” Lena rose from the chair and adjusted her own tie in an imitation of Huey before punching his shoulder and walking to the door.
Huey screamed.
Short little fluff for @weblenaweek, nothing says adventure like marriage and deceptive titles meant to catch your interest (that’s an important part). Hope you enjoyed.
