Vayu Mudra – get rid of stubborn wind Excessive wind (gas) is caused by improper digestion and accumulation of waste inside intestine. There are over 50 kinds of winds that produce disorders like flatulence (stomach/intestinal gas), rheumatism, sciatica, trembling of hands, muscular/joint aches, Parkinson’s disease and nervous degeneration. Vayu mudra should be practiced to remove flatulence. Vayu mudra relieves muscular and joint ache when practiced in combination with Prana mudra. You need to press the tip of the index finger on the base of the thumb. The other three fingers will remain extended. Do Vayu mudra for a minimum of 15 minutes. The Vayu mudra must be discontinued as soon as the disease vanishes. Welcome to day 3 of #YogisMoonFlow! 🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘 It's #fullmoon day, and it's a time for harvesting your intentions and looking over to the past month. Yesterday I told you just a little bit of what the full moon is capable of. For instance, we get way less sleep on a full moon night, due to the less release of melatonin. We might experience heightened mind activity, increased visits to general or psychiatric emergency departments and people complaining of higher levels of physical and mental distress. Early civilizations believed that the moon played a role in fertility, even determining when a woman could become pregnant. And a study found that pets were more likely to visit the vet on nights when the moon was full and bright, suggesting that they are more active and taking more risks.
