President Shinra: *pointing at Sephiroth* What’s his problem?
Angeal: Undiagnosed autism.
Genesis: Mommy issues.
Sephiroth: *drawing a Masamune menacingly*
Veld: *ushering President away* He just didn’t get enough sleep last night *awkward chuckle*

Imagine the Turks would just collectively adopt Miniroth. Either formally or informally. Because if you are (kinda maybe possibly definitely) one Turk's child, you're everyone's child. Meaning that from now on, any issues requiring the consent of a legal guardian have to go through Uncle Veld.
Hojo: Sephiroth, step forward. It's time to check your mako levels.
Miniroth: I can't do that. Veld says I'm not allowed medical procedures without his approval first.
Hojo: Since when does that Turk have any say in my work? He has no right to make decisions about my lab specimens.
Miniroth: The way he put it, nine months before I was born, he got a call from a guy named Vincent Valentine, who was screaming, quote: "I fucked up! I fucked up really bad! Do you think Hojo will notice?" end quote.
Hojo: ......
Miniroth: And because of that, Veld's now automatically responsible for me. His words, not mine.
Hojo: ......
Miniroth: Veld and Tseng give each other high fives every time they see me.
Hojo: I GOT IT!
Okay, so, for anyone unfamiliar, the FFVII Reunion Files was a bilingual Japanese-English artbook published in 2006 as promo for Advent Children, and it had some pages about other Compilation pieces.
Anyone who's been involved with the Turk side of fandom is probably familiar with the eternal question of how to transliterate 「ヴェルド」, the name of the Director of the Turks before Tseng. Official sources go back & forth between "Veld" & "Verdot," so I was curious which way this book went.
... I didn't expect to see it spelled both ways on one page!
😂
(If you'd like to see for yourself, it's available on archive.org, page 96.)

Prompt:
Tseng is in hell.
Not only is his mentor much younger than he’s supposed to be, but he somehow managed to drag his presumed dead (emphasis on dead; this man should dead) partner back with him.
Shoved into a director’s position until the matter is solved, Tseng has to deal with his boss wreaking havoc.
He had thought reigning in Rude and Reno was troublesome, but these two are just pure nightmare fuel.
It also doesn’t help that Valentine seems to have come back wrong. (Surely Veld would have mentioned if his partner had always been a shape-shifting vampire thing—right?)
OR:
Vincent is a time traveler and Veld has been de-aged by at least 20 years. It’s Hojo’s fault, and they’ve decided to make it everyone else’s problem.
Got the 1st part for my TikTok edit ready 💀😭 just a few more to go but anything for Vincent and Veld 😌❤️
