Teeth bared at the cackle that traveled across the wind, twitching his ears in an attempt to catch the location of Mephiles. Tendrils ripping up from the soil caught a tuft of fur, causing him to jolt away. His own shade following him with those acid hues peering below brought an idea to Shadow's mind. If they wanted to play dirty, so be it. A swift click to his air shoes caused the flame boosters to shoot out, torching the grass and hopefully, Mephiles.
