Just so y’all Canadians know, the March Against Racism in Vancouver was yesterday, and was violently disrupted by the S*ons of O*din, a local neo-n*azi group. 

They got into fist fights, dropped smoke bombs (confirmed by protesters, not by police), harassed, and physically harmed protestors, many of whom are QTIPOC, including elders in the community.

The VPD did nothing. 3 men were arrested and released 15 minutes after the march ended. They were not there to protect protesters. 

Some of my good friends were there and witnessed the mess of violence, many were scared that they were not going to be able to get out of the march safely. 

This particular neo-n*azi group has shown up at multiple protests as of late, including the protest against the Tr*ump Tower being built here. They are growing in numbers and in presence.

Check in on your POC friends, check in on your immigrant friends, your muslim friends, your queer friends, trans friends, disabled friends, jewish friends. The police wont protect us, the government wont protect us. Show up for us, we are not safe.

conflicted on this scene. I’m a bitch and hate hawk* so i kind of liked it

but also it feels like this never should have even happened because hawk was so clearly not capable of operating in the field at all. like I guess they were all doing pretty bad here thats probably the only reason it got this far

*the only time he’s halfway bearable is when he’s with dove and being written by a writer who understands that while he THINKS of himself as the ultimate powerful macho man power fantasy, he is not actually always the toughest thing in the room and not always right. I guess these writers got that since it’s pretty clear that he’s negligibly strong compared to donna but he was also acting way more assholey than usual here so i still hated him

Donna grabs Hank by his shirt and shoves him against a tree. He looks surprised.

DONNA: And I won't let you get your way. I may ahve screwed up every way I can in picking and leading this group -- but I sweat to god while I'm in charge we will not resort to intentional murder. You got that, hawk? Do you understand me? Do you?!!!

hank grimaces kind of like he's in pain and donna keeps talking.

DONNA: God I'm doing my best to keep this lousy team together. I've tried everything... and you would throw it all away... you'd ruin it to sate your stinking lust for blood.

Donna starts crying, but she still looks angry and is still holding hank against the tree.

DONNA: Hawk, the predator! Hawk, the hunter! Forget it, Mister. Forget it! Those days are gone! You listen to me now. I've seen the titans shot down in flames three times... And i damn won't let that happen again just so you can jget your rocks off by killing

we can see hank looks limp now. someone off panel is trying to pull donna off him.

DONNA: I don't like being leader, hawk. I don't like it. Do you understand what I'm asying, hawk? Do you? Do you?

Off panel, someone says "donna, donna stop!

Robin smiles and shuts his eyes in response. He says “I did. Does that mean you’re...” he’s immediately knocked off screen by starfire’s fist. he flies and lands in a wall and looks beat up. Starfire floats above him, her eyes glowing green with rage, and says ‘You are out of your gourd!” end image]

Teen Titans Go! has the only acceptable ending for “guy lies to girl to try to get her interested in him then, when found out or after coming clean, acts manipulative like ‘oh you probably hate me’ and tries to make her say ‘oh no i don’t’.”

kind of messed up that a silly comedy show has the best ending for this, but

poor tank, first i screencap her carbonite freezing, then  i do her getting stabbed. don’t worry, tank, you’ll get your chance to stab back.

also i have no idea what makes it koth or lana who saves you. i know in some playthroughs (But not tank’s) i’ve gotten lana

I'm probably the person you're thinking of. My dad's asleep right now but something made me think of him and now I'm angry and ?? ? ? ?? why does this man mAKE ME SO MAD HE's so stupid and annoying and rude and u gh. Is it a rule that stepdads should act like they should be stabbed in the face or something. Just. Stab. More stabbing for your stepjerk but still. Stabbing.

I feel. Stabs for rudes. That’s how it should go. You’re kinda impolite? Light stab to the arm or something that’s easy to heal. You’re a total jerk always but not a bad person per se? Stab to the upper leg or hip or something. You’re a Nasty Bastard Human? welp see you get a stab right between the 3rd and 4th rib like where mom practiced her stethoscope on me when she was in nursing school.
