How can I find the original recording?!
There’s no information on the video about who performed this. I really would like to find out... I’ve heard other amazing violinists play this piece, but this particular performance is so passionate, and I think they put the mic near the violinist, so you can hear all the subtle textures, even the sound of the violinist breathing in the rests. I’m very curious who played this. HELP. -_-;
Okay, I found out! :D It’s from the actual official KimiUso soundtrack (which was harder to verify than it should be... or maybe I’m just bad at searching... there are a lot of “fake soundtracks” out there that have the correct pieces but not the actual tracks used in the anime), played by Yuna Shinohara. Out of all the recordings I listened to to find out, this one is still the best. ^_^ (In my humble opinion.)
And wow, Yuna Shinohara is my new favorite violinist.

Yesterday I performed my piece that I had been working on since the start of March and really only been intensely working on it the past few weeks. Overall with the nerves and everything mixed in I am happy with how I went, yes I made mistakes but how else are we meant to learn if we don’t make mistakes. I’m so glad that my teacher talked me into playing in the concert as I wasn’t sure if I was ready, but he reassured me that I was more then ready.
At the next Curtis Institute's Music in the Galleries performances: paintings by Thomas Moran, Winslow Homer, and Thomas Eakins set the stage for modern and traditional solo violin works by American composers.
I like practicing drunk I think it’s fun. You should try it sometime!
Drunk violin performance major
About 8 months ago I started a journey that I never thought how much joy it would bring. I have had moments of frustration where I have wanted to throw my violin out the window. Today I played in my first concert as a violinist and Im so happy to share this with you.
